Have you seen these little things in Cherno? It's not a bulding, just a small sandbag fortification where you can safely fire at the enemies without exposing yourself. -
A good addition. But what I can say, map can't be expanded endlessly. It must end sometimes. That is another main subject of my topic, to remove plenty of empty useless space and put a part of it to a good use.

Who said the outposts should spawn loot? Also cranes may find more uses, like towing a car with a broken wheel, or removing other debris from the roads. It is a question of fantasy. Without a mean to get the cars out of the stuck road this aspect is totally useless in your idea. -

Maybe not a packed highway, but some packed roads in cities. Maybe add some military outposts on the road entrances, just like the one on square in Cherno. About the cars: they should not all be drivable, about 1/3 of them. Also a wrecker can be implemented, so you can toss broken cars away. It will not be easy to repair, as you'll have to do the usual car repair + hydraulics and crane part repair. After you have tossed the broken cars away, you can repair and drive out the repairable ones. -

Totally like the idea. Maybe some stuck ambulances, police and civilian cars scattered around the cities? With open doors, blood trails, maybe bodies inside. Like the passengers were drawn out by zombies, or the car ran out of fuel and a survivor fought the zombies until the last round came. Maybe some military outposts in cities, and there may be such cars, just like already infected people tried to escape, but were shot by the quarantine forces, or they just ran out of time and zombies attacked the outpost with the cars trying to pass. These events should vary, loot there spawns once in three normal loot cycles (building loot refreshing). -

Good suggestions. About the towns I think a special building interface is needed. Cities and camps should be player-only creations. And I dunno about building up a town. You need machines and materials. While first is hard, but possible, the second is nearly impossible. But large camps with big military tents, camo nets, bag fencing around and deer stands for the guards is possible. It will also perfectly fit into the atmosphere. About LoZD: cool idea. But it should not be critical. Like zombies without one or two legs are to crawl. Or one handed zombie can do light attacks, and handless ones will rush you and try to bite. Heads should be okay, as skulls can't decompose. Good work author. Have some beans. -

Chernarus is a post-soviet country. But somewhy we can see m4 and m16 everywhere, with much more variants than ak has in DayZ. And so far we have only 1 Russian sniper rifle vs. 4 American ones. So is this a post-soviet country or an American state? My suggestions are simple: 1) Reduce the spawn rate of American arms 2x. Some may be even cut out of the game (like m16 acog or as50). They said already that the rarity of military stuff will be increased in standalone. Also I agree with homemade explosives, that will be cool.

A big variety of pistols is not necessary. In any country there are 4-5 good models, armed everywhere. No more is needed IMHO. -
