Not today... I logged onto DE 3k+ and still got a cheat there. But he turned out to be a good man, he gave me a box and a heli... That was cool. But not all of them are such... Many just nuke the server. -

For now, two things embarrass me in fractures: 1) Zombies can cause them with bites/swings. 2) They are cured by morphine. I think there are people that think alike. I offer a solution. Add another condition - leg wound. Symptoms: you can only walk/crawl. Cured over time. Temporarily disabled by painkillers (1/3 time?), morphine disables the effect for all the time. About balalncing with fractures: zombies should not be able to cause fractures, only the wounds. Car crash - 50/50 chance of fracture or open wound. Falling - 90/10 fracture/wound. Gunshot - 30/70 f/w. Broken bones must be cured by splints. Found in hospitals or can be crafted from pile of wood and 3 bandages. Cured also over time, splints let you to limp - somewhat between walking and running. Tell me your opinions! Show support with beans! Criticism is welcome too!

This is a standalone suggestion, I think. The abilities of survival should be increased in common. A man can make use of anything if he wants to survive. Let people make decisions and plan things. For now the best way to get stuff is to run through town, losing zombies, quickly grabbing food, tools, pack, guns - everything you need and gtfo. If you meet someone - KOS. There is no thinking in the game now. The only strategy to survive is the one listed above. Now: Spawn --> Get supplies --> Go to military areas for top loot --> Get a car --> Make a camp --> Go snipe noobs --> Die. As you can see, every life is the same. Of course, people are frustrated after all. So, I want to suggest more freedom in the game. This will require lots of work, yes, but it's worth it. This game will be unique. I will not suggest making a bomb from desodorant or shit like that, but read please. Some common aspects: 1) Barricading houses. Just find planks and nails, and use them to close windows (zombies can see you through them and sometimes break into the windows. 2) Stashing stuff in fridges, cabinets, etc. A good alternative for the tents. 3) Crafting recipes, with some tools required (idea from project zomboid). For example, a bat+hammer+nails=nail bat, a jerry can+empty bottle+fabric=molotov etc. Also some miscellaneous items that can be stacked, like fabric pieces, nails, planks, wires. They are used in some recipes and actions, like making an alarm with a flare and a tripwire. 4) Interactive world. Breaking down locked doors with crowbars, getting into houses through windows, looting broken cars, picking up boxes with stuff to put them into car or somewhere else, large buildings packed with zombies but having many loot etc. I really can't name everything. Just post your suggestions and/or critics. Will be to hear you all. I will add more, and organize the post. I just don't have much time. If these were suggested before, I'm sorry. I was absent for two weeks. -
Zombies may really be different... But what you suggested are dead island thugs... I usually don't kill them, as they can't get you, and beating them is hard and useless. Zombies won't be a threat then, you will just be able to run through the town without a single shot.

So, the topic name says it all. Before flaming read this post attentively. I don't understand why Chernarus is not an island. To the north and west there are rather big empty spaces of debug fields. I had never reached the end of these, and I see no purpose in them being in the game. I know they are needed for technical reasons, but why can't they exist out of the active map boundaries (far in the sea, etc.). Also they are a great place to hoard loot and vehicles. You will never find a camp there unless you have a chopper. Camps there have been declared unfair even by the devs. So why not to cut the debug plains out of the standalone game? Maybe expanding the map a little, adding some small villages in the north, and hunter camps which spawn food, tools and hunting rifles. Also there may be added 3-5 car spawns in the villages to reward ppl which managed to get this far. And maybe a big town in the NW, with port etc. but without any player spawns. As of now, west and north are low-populated places where no action happens. This will also boost action in these areas. Also introducing a new conception: wide river dividing northern and western Chernarus from another land. It will be the mainland already, some villages will be on the opposite coast and afterwards huge, unpassable mountain begins. Realistic Russian geography (southern mountains). So, what do you think? Your suggestions and additions are welcome too.

Southern coast spawn is the best. Just because the best loot is in the north.

This is just stupid. Integrating two different games? What for? Fully cocked arma 3 players, full of military loot, will just tear DayZ survivors with their Enfields and revolvers into pieces. If the cheaters are gone in the SA, they will have a good replacement, then.
