True fun is to shoot someone with m9/g17 and hide, look how they are surprised, wait, and when they bandage, shoot once more. Repeat till you are under the table.

I think all of you people have encountered a situation, when a camper is sitting somewhere, and there is no way to pass through. If anyone was in Object AII in Namalsk, you will understand me. Only one ladder, and no way to fight back from up there. I offer a solution. We can make smoke grenades using ammonium nitrate. They create caustic, thick black smoke. But I don't think that its craft must be cheap and easy. It mustn't, because the campers get severely disadvantaged. Howto: We need a water canteen, some ammonium nitrate (IRL 300g, maybe spawning a little bag in barns ingame?), several newspapers, a piece of rope for the fuse and an empty can to act as the grenade body. When the grenade is crafted, you must dry it upon a fire or wait 6 hours for it to get dry. How it works: The grenade is lit and thrown (by the way, you'll need matches!). 3 seconds after being thrown, it begins creating the smoke. It spreads a bit wider than the smoke grenade. And the main thing: everyone, who gets into the smoke, has blurred vision, shaking aim (like from low temperature, not stronger!) and coughs periodically. The effects progress over time. Staying in the smoke for long time causes unconsiousness. Pros/Cons: Post your replies!

Why not? But this is another theme yet. I think this thing will just make the game more... survivalish! Everything that you make yourself to survive is very interesting. Lots of suggestions about craft have a base, huh? In a survival situation man always tries to create something helpful. -

Thank you. About rarity: I think, the bags should be rather common, but spawning in uncommon places. Like these little grey sheds. One more thing is that you will have to look for many different (while common) components. Or go into a city to get everything at once, but this may get ya killed. Also the components consume a lot of inventory space. So it doesn't need to be pretty rare. Uncommon? Maybe. Thx anyway ^_^ -
Take only the shit you need in a town. Raid supermarket, firestation and hospital. Check the bus stations (maybe you'll be lucky) and run away. You should have food, medicine, primary (at least) and a backpack. Then go north.

Thought about this too, this is what HAS to be in the game. Maybe, the fuel should be even made finite? First we find jerry's, refuel from the tanks... In a month we run out of gas. Somewhere the tanks are empty, somewhere they got blown up in a fight. Survivors scavenge destroyed cars for the precious liters. A lone scavenger once finds a fuel tank, attached to a truck in a forest road. It's stuck, but he calls a friend. They find some wheels and an engine, and they become rich. But they still have to get to safety in that slow-moving, large target... And in a month more, some people restored a small petrol station, repairing the pump and starting a generator. The place becomes fortified, as the bandits attack it nearly every day. Food and ammo for petrol... The deals are made. This is what I'd personally like.

Maybe doing separate servers for both types of people? A bit improve 1st person and here we go! 50/50 servers running 3rd/1st person. -

The problem is that no game has to feature such loads of content as DayZ does. I just don't imagine how ArmA engine can stand that, though I believe in devs. -
Winchester is already rare for no reason. I find CZ 550 more often than the Winchester. So let's give it a CC use, finally. It is famous as a good weapon against zombies - let's continue working in that direction. What do you think? ------ Winchester is a rifle that cant fire pellets. I am stupid. Pls close the topic.

Winchester is good against zombies, as it's: one-shot kill 15 rounds per clip let you kill groups relatively quiet Pellets will help in CC situations (in cities), and preserve more valuable slugs.

Make hordes roam in the forests. Big ones, about 50-100 rotten fuckers in a single one. Even if one detects you, all will rush. Nowhere to hide - just run until you fall. If you are lucky enough to spot it at a distance - crawl away. If not - you'll need a group. Even a MG won't help. AND PLEASE NO FUCKING SLENDERS AND OTHER MONSTERS. -

Try to spawn in a city. If I'm lucky and find a bus, I repair it. Take a starting primary, food+water, tools that I can find (killing everyone on the way), head to Stary, then to NWAF, then going for a car...

Hello everyone. The topic of events, and particularly crashed helicopters is very interesting in this game. I did a couple topics before, but as there are lots of aspects in this topic, something was always left behind. So, I finally decided to make a large, deep thread about the heli crashes. Some of the ideas were mine, some I took from the community. Thx to their authors anyway. Please don't post "this was suggested a million times" stuff. Most is new, but if I miss things that are beaten to death, the picture won't be complete. That was a little beginning word. Now let's start the main suggestions section. 1) Rarity. 2) Spawning (geography). 3) Design. 4) Loot. 5) Zombies. 6) Crash types. 7) Background story (not sure about that). Community addings For now that's all I can think about. Comment and write your opinions, share beans! The topic will grow with your ideas, help me to make it better and full! -
