I had this. Relogin for about 3 times in different places, f**k the system, that helped me -
+1 about animals. And let the boars attack you sometimes. They are too weak, IRL a shot from a rifle isn't a one-shot kill mostly, and here a Makarov headshot kills them... A boar skull is really tough. So, THIS will really make hunting challenging. Goats should have the same option. But no cows. Cows are not aggressive, they are kind :)

Rocket is now making a new visibility system, but I would like to correct it a little bit. Quoting: Now I am tweaking values. They will now have the CHANCE to detect you from much further away visually, but this rises and falls based exponentially on how close you are versus how visible you are. So if you are visible at 120m, and at 110m, you have a very low (but still possible) chance that you will be spotted. The longer you stay there the greater the chance of being spotted. ------------------------------ The idea is good, but the method is wrong. If you don't move, you should be harder to see, because IRL movements can betray you, not vice versa. It's simple and realistic. Maybe he was talking about such situation: going along a field near a village? So if you stop, you are spottable? I agree, but a moving point among the grass is even more noticeable then a static one. Comment on it!

Fine, but I don't think the hole it self should be a container. Dig a hole, put a tent. They're not hard to find, and that would be more interesting, because a single entrenching tool can provide you with endless number of safe hidey holes. That's no good, we need more hardcore :)

We have female survivors, haven't we? Good. Are women immune to the virus? I think not. So, what about creating the female undead? The requirements are simple: different clothes (plz more different than men!!!), somewhat other screams (higher tone). I can't think out anything more, leaving the idea for community/devs to make it better.

I mean they should naturally spawn. This is just a player with a zombie face, done through editing the profile.

Yesterday I died in elektro trying to get something that can shoot... And then an idea came into my head: what about hand-made weapons? The simplest example is a bow. Get a knife, cut down a branch, kill an animal, get his sinew out, dry it (in the sun or upon a fire), and here you go! Find crossbow arrows or make your own with sharping a stick with a knife! All these actions should take time, and those weapons shouldn't be very powerful. But today no one wants to go to cities and villages, because Zed have a good hearing and vision... A human can envy. So, the subjects and their creating: 1) A spear. Must have already been listed by someone else. Just finding/axing a big branch, axing one end in half and inserting a rock... Profit! 2) Axe. Made in a simular way, but is only for wood and branch chopping. Can't be used as a weapon. 3) A bow. Look up there. 4) A deep dish. Made of birch bark, it can be used to collect rainwater/to fill it at ponds & pumps. 5) A sling. Cut out leather from an animal, give it a form, attach a holder of bark, find a little blunt rock at the shore... That won't be an accurate weapon, but it will have a highten chance of kicking players and zombies unconsious. That's all ideas. Offer your weapons, hope devs will support! P.S. Make the spawn rate of the knife a bit higher, or make players spawn with it... That should give a wide space for action.

Maybe. Thats my mistake writing about the cities. Really I meant that someone that doesnt want to encounter zombies and players can survive without it... But the cool loot will still remain in cities and villages/farms. -

Date/Time: I think that doesnt matter here... What happened: Me and my friend were opening doors at the military camp with four deer stands at Balota. The first door kicked him unconcious + all possible effects, the next made me unconsious and bleeding, the third gave me pain & broken leg & shock... Where you were: Balota airstrip (a military camp with tents nearby) What you were doing: Look What happened *Current installed version: People are reporting this for all versions, we were on 1.7.0, yesterday my friend at 1.7.1.4 got that too... *Server(s) you were on: Dallas 44 *Your system specs: No matter *Timeline of events before/after error: Everything was as usual, running in the forest, looting buildings...

Just switch to CoD or Battlefield - there's what you want... going straight against gunfire hitting you is fun... but dayz has never been a fun (except zombies falling off rooftops)))
