So yeah, I just re-installed the whole game from scratch. Works perfect now.

I was using the previous beta patch when I posted this although I just upgraded and the problem still stands.

I'm using Steam to start the game at the moment. My position saves and everything works just fine besides the inventory. I only play on servers connected to the hive and shit, so yeah.

So, recently my character's inventory wont save. I've picked up several guns, backpacks and all kinds of general loot. Everything wipes out whenever I log out and back in on any server. I started having this problem yesterday. My friend yoshimanitsu is also experiencing this bullshit, so it isn't just me, that I'm sure of. Is anyone else experiencing this, and if you do, have you found a solution?

Oh wow, I managed to fix it actually. I basically moved all the files from the Addon folder inside the Arma 2 Free folder to the Common folder in both @DayZ and the normal Common folder inside the Operation Arrowhead directory. Only '' problem '' now is that the menus are all fucked up. I think I'm getting the Arma 2 menus and the OA menus mixed in some way. Not a big deal for me, but yeah. Alright, so. Whenever I try to start the game through Steam I get these strange errors, such as; ''Addon 'CAMisc_fix_Str' requires addon 'CAStructuresHouse_A_Office01' '' and a few different bin/entry errors or whatever. I just click okay and move on. I can still load into the servers without crashing or anything and shit. But, here's the problem, I get SERIOUS fucking FPS lag when I get onto the server. This does not happen when I use the Six Launcher. I can also join other types of Operation Arrowhead servers without lag. So, yeah. basically my problems are these errors and the FPS lag on DayZ servers using Steam. Thanks in advance!
