alright lets try something out. 1. verify integrity. 2. Reinstall battleye 3. check if the mod is installed correctly (@dayz/Addons > the mod files inside) 4. if this is a new install did you run arma 2 and then arma 2 OA by clicking "play" first? 5. set launch options(right click arma OA > options) -mod=@dayz -nosplash 6. have you installed a beta patch? 7. do you use some prog like sixupdater etc? have you tried running steam as admin?

I have used the L85 once or twice but only as a support/scout weapon....haven't fired it even once. By my point of view it was the most amazing thing a man can have in there....especially in hotspots such as NW airfield and stary sobor. I play with a group so spotting a man from as far as the eye can see and being able to follow him almost 100% was great for my team and our sniper. As for the M9....I don't like it I don't use it and it doesn't fit the above play style. All that are strictly my personal opinion through what I have experienced.

I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: arma 2 OA beta.exe *What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible: after checking the game requirements my friend decided to buy the game.I think he has at least the minimum requirements to play the game on low settings if not normal. Also microphone is referred as Push To Talk in the menu. :P Edit : unfortunately yeah but you can always die while saluting and with a smile on your face.

check at options > audio (VON,microphone set at full) options > control set bind for microphone. or you can use the universal body language system if you know what I mean ;)

I don't think so mate. Even if you tried the very low settings it probably won't work.

Yup +1 on that. reverting to 94876 is confirmed to be working and solving the "wait for host" bug.

Well if you don't care about money then go for it . and in 2 to 3 years go for it again....cause that's the normal lifespan of a laptop :P anyway hope I helped you a bit. cya around mate.

yup the game aint ready yet for "long term enjoyment" Try getting some buddies to play with you or join a team and venture/RP together to add to the enjoyment factor.

since you already have a group going.Try going to the "hot zones" and pvp a bit while scavenging or just pvp. you can try places like stary sobor,NW airfield,NE airfield. You can also hunt for some vehicles ;)

it is kinda tough to explain from here on how to use the inventory and since I guess you're a new player it will be even harder for you to understand what I'm saying. I suggest checking some videos on youtube or some guides on how to play. Things might seem a bit chaotic at first but have patience and search for a few vids and guides...

I mean nvidia graphics card version 400 and up....440,450,460(gt,glh,gtx) um basically I suggest avoiding a laptop if possible.Too expensive and not upgradeable equals not the best choice for gaming.

Confirmed game working with : 1.7.2.3 + arma 2 Beta 94876 game not working with : 1.7.2.3 + arma 2 Beta 94945 ( stuck at "wait for host" screen) Manually updated.Haven't ever used six launcher etc.

I wouldn't suggest playing THIS game on a laptop. unless your laptop has a graphics card like nvidia 4xx - 5xx plus.... A decent 4-8 gbs ram.(ddr3) and at least an i3-i5....

you took the right position to get em which was cool... but you should try using ironsights and not crosshair. One reason is because the crosshair aint accurate.... the rest you can get later on.

some servers have updated to 1.61.....I played a few minutes ago.
