Because devs are primarly focusing on making the mod work and are not really planning to make takistan playable for Dayz anytime soon.

That is mostly a bad idea. If people are aware of who killed them, most of the time, they will hunt for the person for revenge and hatred between players will build up, provoking a chain of meaningless murders.

This basically happens when you pick a weapon on the ground to replace your current, it vanishes with the ammo. What i do to prevent this is to drop my current gun before picking the gun thats on the ground.

Totally agreeing with this. A Winchester 1866 only fire .44 magnum rounds, the current shotgun should be a double barrel rifle or a saiga-12.

Adam is right, death is death. The only thing that should remain from your last character is your "humanity", nothing else. I hope it'll stay this way.

Arma 2 lacks good sounds and all the default weapons sounds make me feel like i'm firing plastic guns with bad speakers inside. This mod replaces numbers of sound on arma 2 that makes it sound unbelievably good, it also has better environement sounds. i've been using it ever since on every server i could. Distant gunshots sounds great as well. And considering sound plays a hughe role in the immersion ambiance of survival, i would really love to be able to use this mod on Dayz servers.
