Certain places are considered PvP hot-spots and should be looked at as Kill On Sight while within the borders of places like Churno, Elektro and the NW Airfield. I've also noticed some servers are friendlier than others, keep an eye out for Regular and Recruit servers as opposed to Veteran or Expert.

I like the splint for a broken leg. a temporary solution until you can find yourself some morphine. I also The flashlight gun. I normally stay away from servers at night but that might get me to play at night more often. Make the electrical tape (I would prefer Duct tape) an item you could store on your tool belt.

Too many times have i been shot in the back for my loot, which I never have much of. I have had many times where I could have shot someone in the back, but didn't. Just for them to turn around and unload on me. Not sure if direct chat is working with 1.7.1.5 but I will give it a try next time, Metric has given me new hope for being friendly. I Had the same dilemma, After watching about 20 minutes of youtube videos I bought the Arma2 w/expansion for $30 and have not regretted my decision at all. Totally worth the price IMHO.

Strange, i've never had a fire go out before, I always had to put it out. Where are you, indoors or outside? on a hill? is it raining?
