Pretty cool of you to share your story with these guys and not expect pitty, hopefully people will think twice before following in your footsteps. I play the single player mod, not for exploits just because I have awful ping, you might be able to go that route if you still want to get the dayz experience. -Edit- Saw you said you got another copy -
That's a good point, but it'd be hard to justify a single player game with no save system. Hell I'd still love it, but it'd piss a lot of people off I'm sure

Please explain the part in bold, I'm confused. I mean having the perma-death element remain the same if you do die, but for people not wanting that element, they can always revert to their last save if they want to

I love the multiplayer as much as the next guy, but I would also love a singleplayer port of day z; I'm just honestly not a fan of pvp in general, and I love the idea of perma-death but still being able to revert to a save if desired. Probably won't happen unless a major developer takes this idea and screws it up royally, but a man can dream. In the meantime, day z is as close to my perfect zombie game as I can hope for, keep up the great work guys!
