    You get geared up fast by killing other players at sniper hills around Electro and Cherno. First, get any gun you can. Even hatchet may do the work if you're lucky enough. Then outflank the sniper hill and kill the camper. 99.9% of the time he has ass50, NVG, Coyote, Rangefinder and everything in between. There's no point at all to go North. There's no life outside Cherno, Electro or Balota. If you spawn far away from these cities - just kill yourself. Kamenka has a nice suicide bridge. In all other spawn points all you need to do is to get eaten by the zombies.

    Actually, auto updates is the worst thing that can happen to you. So it's a great disadvantage and one of the main reasons why you should not install that crapware.
