Actually, I pretty enjoyed this encounter. It was something really new for me. Before that I felt like I know everything and seen everything e.g.: deathmatch in Cherno/Elektro, surviving alone by hunting, sitting 4+ hours at airfield to score a kill, etc. But then... This thing happened. It was completely new to me. Honestly, this game has unlimited possibilities.

Well, it wasn't a kill in a cold blood. I could understand if he just killed me for looting "his" deer stands. Or kill me just for the murder count. But what he did was plain humiliating. He even used low-damage weapon to not accidently insta-kill me. And the fact that he patched me so I won't run out of blood. Did he get his dick hard from that process? Why did he shot in front of me so I won't move? Maybe because he rubbed his dick and thus needed one hand off the keyboard? (;

Have anybody seen the NVG of the original Operation Flashpoint? They were good only on short distance. If DayZ had the same NVGs as OFP it would still give advantage to the wearer but at the same time wont make him the god of the night. My vote goes for old-skool NVG. Get rid of this sci-fi shit NVGs that we have at the moment ingame.

People seem to complain that everyone is hostile in recent times. Well guys, here's the story of my adventure today. Night. 3/4 of the moon. Anything is barely visible but you can find your way. Before that game I was always switching to daylight servers but this time because of some visibility provided by the moon I decided to stay. I spawn at Kamyshovo. Turn west and after picking some road flares at the train station I begin my journey to Elektro. Along the way I spam the place with flares to distract zombies and to actually be able to see what I loot. This way I arrive with only an axe to Elektro. As soon as I enter the city I find myself under fire from silenced automatic weapon. Bullets are flying by, breaking windows. Very atmospheric I must say. (; I sprint to the church to in a hope to find some weapon. Instead I find there another guy. I'm telling him that I'm friendly and propose him to continue together. So here we go around the city to the fire station. Trying to scavenge some weapons but without success. When he climbs down the ladder from the roof he gets attacked by zombie and breaks his legs. He then says that he wants to respawn. I tried to convince him to wait for me to bring him morph but he refused anyway. So we say good bye each other and part. I continue my journey by electric lines to Cherno because we didnt find any guns in Electro so there was no reason to stay. Passing by the barn at north I get myself Winchester and PM. With these luxuries I arrive at Cherno's supermarket. There I find another guy that tries to escape as soon as he sees me. On Direct Chat I tell him "Wait!" - Yeah? - I'm friendly - I have no gun - Here, take my pistol (and I put my PM on the floor with some clips) From here begins the most exciting part. I tell him that I'm low on blood and that I need a transfusion. By that time the night got darker and I couldn't see a shit without flares. Althou this guy could see pretty well (I think this is a video card issue). So he tells me "cmon lets go, I lead you to the hospital". As soon as we get outside the enlightened area I see pitch black. I back off to the market saying that I couldnt see anything. So we stop to think what we can do. I propose him to hold a flare so I'll be able to see where to go. He says that it will attract zombies so no way. Then I came up with an idea to give him a chem light. And here we go. I see nothing but his figure slightly lighted in blue and try to follow him as close as possible. Along the way we fight zombies, enter houses to pick up some ammo and shit. It was the longest trip to hospital ever! It felt like we passed few kilometers. But at the same time it was hell of an exciting thing! We get to the hospital, he makes the transfusion and we continue to loot the medical supplies from the tents. Suddenly he disappears. I notice server message that it will be rebooted and I got stuck too. After few tries I successfully join the game, spawn at the same place that I left and... its daylight! I was so grateful to see the sun again! But there's no trace of my friend. I begin to search after him in all the tents as I come upon crouched person. He was with his back to me. I thought it was him but then noticed that guy had AK74 Cobra. Well, I thought I will be friendly with this one too. I point my gun to the side (I think it's a bad manner to point the gun at someone's head while you talk to them (-; ) and start typing. All of the sudden he turns around and shoots at me with full auto! What a douche bag! I hope you read this post, fucking psycho. I could have killed you five times. Didn't you hear me crouching behind you? I was pointing my gun for about 5 seconds right next to you head. If I wanted I could fucking kill you and take away your precious AK with Cobra! Do you really think it's so great that it gives you the right to kill people without a reason? I hope one day somebody stuffs your hairy butt with the barrel of AK74Cobra and goes full auto on you. Regardless of that sad event I really feel some kind of an accomplishment. I befriended with 2 completely random people on the same run and it feels like I've completed some side quest. Like in GTA where you have to bring injured people to the hospital. So it was here too. My character got what he needed, saw the sun of the next morning and, as every side-quest character, was discarded. TL;DR There're enough friendly people in this game so stop telling that everyone is for PKing. Althou there're enough douche bags too.

So it was 5am and I got 1 hour to play before I leave to work. That was pretty crappy night because my ISP had problems and I was getting very high ping and constanly got kicked from many servers. But that very last run was extremely fruitful. After woundering around and collecting starter loot I headed to Electro. Heard some gunshots in firestation area. What do I see? A terrible amount of zombies rushing there too. And they dont give a shit about me! I ran with them inside the firestation, crouched in the middle of that big room while shitloads of zombies enter from all directions and head upstairs just passing throu that barberwire like in Terminator 2. After some thinking I decided it would be better if I get the hell out of that place. But I was eager to see what's going on on the roof. So I ran around the building and cllimbed that ladder on the wall. And HOLY SHIT - I see dead sniper with DMR. I sprint to his corpse and start to loot him... OMFG... DMR, COYOTE backpack, range finder and precious NVG. There was also M249 in backpack but it fell outside and refused to get back in. Then I disconnected and joined some night server to see how this works. In the meantime my alarm clock rings (6am, I'm supposed to get up for a work). I crouck run past few houses in Electro and get this annoying text that I was getting the whole night: no message revieved bla bla bla. That was some intense shit. I really don't know what that guy with high end gear was doing on the firestation roof. Maybe he wanted to commit a suicide? Anyway I feel a bit sorry for him for being robbed of all his precious gear by some random survivor that lived barely 1 hour ingame.

The problem here is that you were killed by spawn kill while heading to camping position. In my story that guy gave a hell of a fight. If he was some DC hopper he could easily disconnect and avoid his death. So it is really a mystery for me why would you go to Elektro firestation with NVG and DMR.

I dont think he was using his machinegun. Because while I was in alliance with zombies I heard only rifle shots, not machinegun bursts. But the question is what he was doing with all his high tier stuff in the middle of bloodbath? Wasnt he supposed to be camping from the hill far away?

Zombies for a long time became a no problem for me. But today I entered hangar at eastern airport, found PDW there. First time I find this gun so I was eager to test it. Shot one zomb with quick burst. Everyone starts to run at me. I try to escape to the staircase at the watch tower. And guess what. A horde is coming throu front door and even bigger horde is descending from upstairs! Got knocked out and eaten alive in few seconds from 12000 blood. WTF does watch tower spawn 15 zombies inside?

I wouldn't think I ever could say that but... LEARN TO PLAY NOOB! I've got fully geared up with alice pack, compass, map, AK74 Cobra, 1911, etc without firing a single shot! Learn to stealth, crawl, avoid getting too close to Z, throw flares to distract zombies from houses/barns. Learn and practice. No need to spawn with a gun.

wow! I love this community! On topic: yeah that shit happens. I join random server and there's literally no loot at all. Even not junk. Just try joining another server. -OR- Be like a PRO: Go to firestation in Cherno. Stand in the corner and start serverhopping till you get all you need.

I've accidenty found ATV in the middle of the woods somewhere up north. Fully repaired and fueled with some shit inside. Stole it. Drove about 2km and overturned... I wish I didnt find that suicider's junk.

I vote for strafe jump and rocket jump too! It will make PvP much more fun and intense!

Maybe to use it as decoy for zombies? You take dead body, drop it at one end of a village. Zombies gather from the whole village to appreciate their served meal while you quietly loot the whole place.

And the G36 isn't a western weapon?:dodgy: The weapon was designed in Germany so anyway it has more chances to make its way somehow into ex-Soviet country than M16 for example, which are in abundance ATM. And it should be some type of a rare gun.

Yeah... It's so romantic to sit next to campfire inside barn by candles and empty Jack Danniel's bottles just listening to zombies' moans outside while looking into each others eyes...
