Every server has a red X on the left in the game browser. The error says 'connection rejected'. It only happens to me when I have the wrong patch.

I would disagree with that statement. On full servers everybody is deathmatching at Ch or El. While on low-pop servers everybody is rushing to NWAF. Just search the forums. I remember one story where there were 5 people on the server and all five of them got a fight at NWAF. A can assure you that on full servers I was sprint running in the middle of NWAF shooting Zeds with AKM on full auto. I felt like that guy on demotivator: Went off the northern airfield without a scratch - forever alone.

Yep. All the sniping positions in Cherno and Electro are known. I decided to snipe those who climb that huge tall industrial tower from the northern hill. Got GPS, M4 SD and M24 on me + full bag of DMR ammo. After about 30 minutes of shooting somebody just raped me in the ass with Enfield from 0 meters. Some noob got my gear for free while I had to go to NWAF to obtain it.

Interesting tendency. There's a hill to snipe Electro from. Then there's that position to snipe that very hill. Then another position will emerge that overlooks the previous one. By that way we can build a chain of counter-counter-snipers that goes as far as NWAF.

Why do I alway hear that "Don't get attached to your gear" mantra? I love my gear and I get attached to it. Maybe you woud suggest me to not get attached to GF too? I'm fucking loving it and I don't want to lose it. Both former and latter.

Want to be a sniper? Pick up Enfield or CZ and camp as you wish. Every other scoped rifle is ruining the atmosphere of the game. Perhaps you can leave M14. All other scoped should be eliminated.
