There are already hot spots where people can fight, those places are called NWAF, Cherno, Electro. I do not approve this idea. Whenever i find a helicrash and that has happened 3 times, my heart starts beating and i get excited, if you take that out, its like stealing a beans from my pocket. -
Shepardx, i know what you are saying, but this is an endless battle. Its like politics where there are 2 sides of radicals (Im not going deep into that topic). Anyways my point is that, what ever we talk about here, there always will be people who think: A)Scumbags, they should tell us more info. B)Let them work with their project, its better for the future. You see the pattern of radicals here? Ofcourse there are neutral personalities who just dont give a fck about the sides. But yeah my point is.... "Endless Battle" - Begin!

Me and my friends were playing with the new patch and this is our conclusion: 1.Zombie Behaviour Heightened - Zombies aggro more. 2.Easy To Spot Survivors - Like another sir mentioned, if you see Zeds around a city/town/village, there is bound to be a survivor. This should be countered with the ability that if a survivor is x meters away (like 1000-2000) the zeds already spawn, so that snipers cant view a city and see if Zeds have already spawned there, likely having a survivor there. 3.Syncing Fixed. 4.Bear Traps Hard To Find. 5.Ammo Tracking Bugged - Ammo refills if you reconnect. 6.Loot Disappeared - Sometimes when we loot a place, the loot is already gone, even the tin cans and rubble. 7.Players Still ALT+F4. 8.Random Spawn After Connecting - If you sometimes disconnect from a game and reconnect you will spawn in a different location than you logged out. 9.Random Zombie Spawning - Sometimes Zeds spawn randomly next to you or in packs. Example - The Northern Airfield was completely empty. I started to run over the airstrip to loot. As soon as i set my foot on the airstrip, about 8 Zeds spawned and all aggrod on me, luckily i survived, but this is clearly a bug. I hope this was helpful and informative. The game still ROCKS! This is so true. This is especially good when having silenced weapons (personal experience). This needs a fix right away. -

Everything works fine still. Though one problem arised while we were on the airfield. *Zombie Spawn: Me and my mate were on the airfield and it looked empty. We were thinking to run over the airfield, but as soon as we set foot on the airstrip, about 8-10 zombies spawned randomly infront of us, and all of them aggrod. This was very weird. *Implement A Running Attack For Zombies :). Other than that, mod is working great, go Rocket and the Team :P!!! -

DayZ is working fine for me and my friend. Dayz Version : 1.7.2.3 Beta : 94876 *Desync and ghillie, camo problems are gone. *Me and my mate were on the airfield, and zombies aggro sometimes randomly, we were standing still and suddenly aggrod 3 zeds, maybe need a look in. Other than that, this update is f*cking neat :P. Good job Rocket and the Team, the game is playable again :). -
You see,i agree with the whole "Alpha" point. Ofcourse Alpha stage means a lot of bugs and messy things, but you GOT TO ADMIT that this Alpha Mod got Arma 2 to the top of Steams Most Selled. By saying this, the developers are forced into a corner, should they continue publishing Alpha to the public OR make it closed. As you would think logically, Bohemia would never close the Alpha release, due to the consistant rise in Arma 2 sales and income from it. They are going to definately release DayZ to Arma 3 in the future (forcing us to buy Arma 3, you all know it :P). But as this kind of act requires more complex measures. Developers should release at least somewhat tested patches, not fresh patches for us to test. Ofcourse we are meant mainly to test them. What my point is that saying "If you bought this game for this mod, then you are fail" is wrong. Look up on Steam and you can see that DayZ is all ready put in the Arma 2 description which makes DayZ the OFFICIAL MOD of Arma 2, thus making it the part of the game, so OBVIOUSLY people are going to buy the game for this mod. I understand your point with the Alpha, but come on man, we are all here because of the mod. PS! Good luck Rocket and your team. Try to fix the Major bugs as fast as you can. This game fcking rocks :P. Mod Of The Year!

I don't usually post on the forums, only view them time to time, but now i have the feeling that i should because AT THE MOMENT the game is totally UNPLAYABLE and BROKEN. Pros: *Zombie Aggro - Zombies aggro more often, making the game harder. Cons: *DESYNC - Desyncing makes the game totally unplayable for me and my friends. We just didn't want to play because once you run with your friend, 5 second later you see him running into a random direction which completely destroys team work. Makes the game BROKEN. *Loading - Connecting to a server takes longer. *Page 46 - The hacking has gone out of control. Me and my friends found a tent with 5 of the same type weapon plus a thermal weapon. Only solution is to wipe all THERMAL WEAPONS, because it is OVERPOWERED and people will easily snipe you which makes the game BROKEN again. *Clothing - If you have any Ghillie or Camo suits, store them. If you equip them you will lose all of your inventory + secondary weapon, however you wont lose your backpack and your slot items (you will lose binoculars). *Ammo Tracking - It is still broken. Want to save ammo? Shoot 49% of your clip and then reload, if you reconnect, you will have full magazines :/. Some of you are saying that the FPS has gone better. IDK i havn't had any FPS problems before so i can't tell much about it. Rocket keep up the good work, really like the mod, but i can't play at the moment because of the bugs :(.

Looking for an active DayZ Group/Clan in Europa :). Have been playing this for a while and i have gained some experience with it. I have lost a lot of gear because of bandits and im really looking forward finding an active group so i dont have to wander around alone :). Greetings fellow survivors. I have been playing this mod quite some time now, and i really like it, props to Rocket. While playing, i have noticed some BALANCE issues, which i would call plain "CHEATING" and i have come up to some ideas. PLEASE IF YOU FIND THESE IDEAS GREAT THAN AT LEAST +1 THEM. *Delay After DC --- A lot of players tend to DC the game after they get into trouble. Add a delay to character to stop the massive DC after a zombie encounter or PVP which is plain "Cheating". *Zombie Running Attack --- I know that this idea is going to be a blow below the belt, but i have found it so easy to run from packs of zombies to houses and just pick them off. I have nothing against the mechanism that when you enter a house then the zombies start to walk, but it is so easy to just run through a city and loot every building and be victorious, this isnt zombie survival. This is just "run n' loot". So i have come to a suggestion. --- Zombies can attack while running with x second delays (example: 3seconds, attack, 3seconds, attack). This would completely remove the "run n' loot". I have tried this myself and its really easy to loot cities. This is also IMO "Cheating" and removes the feel of SURVIVING. *Revival --- Before you start saying "What?" i would want to describe what i mean. Revival with x item. If your fellow survivor dies then you can revive with x item. The revived survivor starts with 3000hp and is bleeding 300hp per sec. HE CAN'T BANDAGE HIMSELF. Only you can. You have 10 sec to do this. While being unconscious, your body CAN be looted. --- This kind of mechanism would really strengthen the COOPERATIVE gameplay, thus this forces players to stick together rather than Solo Bandit. What do you think Rocket, as what ive seen, thats what you aim. Also this would remove any kind of bug related deaths while playing with your friends, A.K.A falling off high buildings, moving in tight spots etc. So far, i haven't got any more BALANCE issue problems. If i have more ideas, then i will post them here. Thank you, MrM.

Rocket, YOU ROCK. Good job fixing the problems :), now i can play DayZ again.
