Being the hunter is of course easier than being the hunted. So sure, it's "easy mode". That's not exactly an argument against doing it however. Fun is fun, have at it. Shit, nothing is easier in Day Z than being in a clan, but people do it so they can talk about their cats while they shoot shit up. -
I do my best to kill only PKer's, often just kneecapping them and leaving them be (often kneecapping them again after they use morphine). Problem is telling who's a PKer from just a normal player. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. Just roll the dice.

Problem with just using a hatchet is it's impossible to avoid the random zombie strike at times and while it mostly just results in a broken leg, sometimes you get knocked unconscious which means death. Once you have a Czech backpack you can store your primary along with it's ammo allowing you to switch to your hatchet at any time for silent kills. Personally I'd rather rely on a crossbow for that as it's more reliable since you can keep your distance.

Once the person who placed the tent dies, no one can pick that tent up. As for how long it lasts, I don't know. I'm going on seven days now, so it's at least much longer than two days. I would hope they make it last for as long as you continue to access it while those that never get used despawn accordingly.

I was in Cherno yesterday and I heard a baby crying in some horrible fathers lap. Yeah that shit's been silenced. I use a mic for vent with friends only. I have no problem with text chat for other needs.

Came upon a bicycle over the weekend sitting in the middle of a field. Hopped on it and rode it back to my camp and parked it on the opposite side of the forest under the foliage of a tree. Could only see it if you stood inside the tree. Gone the next day. Haven't been able to find another. -

I'm fine with pretty much all of it, lack of a gun, starting out bare bones, etc... Really need to have some kind of tolerable stealth though. Sprinting into Cherno and ducking into a building is easy, but not exactly fun. I know there's not much to be done with zombie animation and pathing, but I'd rather be forced to avoid them than scrape them off on door jams.
