Yes, very same thing just happened to me. I glitched through a wall on a construction site and fell to death. :( Screen said "You are dead". I instructed my friend to grab some of my items and then I quit to menu to start a new character. However, my char never spawned, no matter what I do (or which server I join), the screen just says "You are unconscious". Any fix for this?

Good evening guys, I need your help. A while ago I had a really nasty fight with some lowbob bandit. He attacked me and even though I managed to kill him he hurt me really bad. I was bleeding and everything. However I used a bandage and survived but now my vision is all "blurry" because i'm hurt so bad (I'm sure you know what I mean). From what I've understood, you will heal yourself if you are in a good shape. I ate a lot of food and drank from a well and I think my character is as "green" as he can get. So according to this guide I should currently recover 3 Blood per second, which means I should be completly healthy within at most 20-25 Minutes. Yet this isn't happening... I'm running around blurry since almost 45 Mintues now and it's not getting better at all. Am I doing something wrong? How long will it take until I'm healthy? Thanks for any advice!

Good evening! First of all, I have not read all the suggestions and i'm not 100% aware what features have already been announced for the future, so I'm sorry if this has already been discussed before. I couldn't find anything when I looked for it... I think it would be a great feature if you could have more than one Character per Account (maybe up to 4?). This is because I sometimes play in a group with my friends (and we all log off at the same spot) and the next evening, my buddies don't have time to play and I need to play alone. But since I want to continue playing with my friends afterwards, i'm somewhat forced to stay at the same spot or risk to be killed alone and loose important (group-) loot and thus piss off the group. It would be nice if I could use at least second char for playing alone while one is "reserved" for group sessions... it wouldn't matter if I die because i wouldn't loose important loot and I don't have to walk over the whole map to get back to my group. Is anything like this planned? Thanks!

We just had a fight at the airfield and I started bleeding after one or two hits... so Gunshots definitly (Still) cause Bleeding.

That might be true. I found the SKS multiple times, but always in the weirdest locations... not where weapons usually spawn. Often in random houses in cities and two times at different locations in the shipwreck. Either the machete has a very low spawnchance or very odd spawn locations.

It would be really, really cool if there was an indoor pool in one of the bigger cities. There is also one in Prypiat city inside the chernobyl evacuation zone, it was already used in several other computer games including Call of Duty and STALKER.

Lol i was just about to post the very same thing. :) The german magazine DER SPIEGEL featured an article about it today. Here is the Link, for those speaking german, it's actually a pretty interesting read and has some more pictures with it. ;) I think it would be a great addition to the now somewhat empty far north. Maybe an abandoned winter-sports area, with ski lifts, big abandoned hotel towers, restaurants and stuff! Would be an amazing area to explore!

I only experienced what happened when they introduced skills to The War Z... even though the game was utter **** anyways, some skills (especially more HP and faster Movement) were way more valuable then other skills. I see that there might be some potential in the idea, but it requires a lot of work and shouldn't be started to work on until the very rest of the game is finished... ;)

I don't like the idea. Everybody should be able to do everything, otherwise this becomes like a WoW Raid where you need a tank/buffer/healer/etc. to be successful. Also different skilltrees will cause A LOT (and i mean: A REAL LOT) of whining, because you'll never be able to balance them correctly. It'll always be "mimimimi, Survival is OP". I want to be able to play alone, not need 10 other guys...

+1 Yet its absolutely useless to start petitions like this one in this forum because this community here DOES NOT represent the actual DayZ Community but is full of so called "Hardcore Players" which want this mod to be as hard and frustrating as possible... Don't expect too many people here giving you a "+" even though its a good idea specially because you can get your bones nroken doing such random stuff as crawling over a doorstep. -
Hi guys. Since this is my first post i want to thank the devs really quick for providing this awesome mod. Its so good it even made me quit playing Diablo III. =) Sadly, I have a severe problem. This morning I broke my leg in a little village in the nowhere while crawling through the door of one of these smaller black houses. Now that my leg is broken i can't stand up again and from what I've understand reading this forum the only possible cure is to use morphine. However i don't have any morphine with me and i cleared the village twice - there is no morphine. I'm not gonna crawl to the next big city to find morphine, that would take ages. And I'm not gonna whine around in the chat either "Please come to XXX, my leg is broken and i have tons of good items please kill me". I suggest to disable the ability to break bones, as long as the char has bones made of glass and breaks them crawling around. Don't get me wrong, i actually like the feature to break bones, there is no problem with it. But it is annoying that you can break them doing such random, innocuous stuff as crawling through a door. Thanks for considering.

Thread #7 about broken bones/morphine in the last 12 hours. Yes, I agree with you. Broken Bones and Blood should recover slowly over time. Hopefully this will be fixed/added soon. Now brace yourselves, "hardcore players" are coming and whining... -

Do you have your own little zombie at home? No? So how can you say what behavior is "realistic" for a zombie? Just because humans live in homes that doesn't have ANYTHING to do with how zombies behave. Every zombie universe/movie/story is a little bit different but most of them agree that zombies become more like animals... controlled by instinct, most of their brain dead and without free will. Most animals will maybe search a dry cave/house to sleep but stay outside the rest of their time. And since zombies certainly don't need to sleep there is no reason why zombies would stay in their homes... -

Yes, broken bones is a neat part of the game. Signed. We don't need to discuss this, as i stated in the OP I like and appreciate this feature. BUT breaking a bone while crawling over a doorstep of about 15cm height is just ridiculous. This is not a feature, as I said this is a bug/glitch which needs to be fixed asap. -

So basically you're saying "Because I had to crawl miles everybody else should also have to crawl miles", do I understand this right? The things is: I'm sure you and these other players didn't enjoy crawling miles too much, did you? So why keep a BUG that is obviously annoying everyone except for a couple freaked out hardcore bobs? After all this remains a GAME and is supposed to be fun. I hope YOU see that your exact argument can be used to block any progress in development. Example: "What, you found a glitch and want it fixed? - Well, everybody else has to deal with the same glitch so your argument has no value..." See what I mean? -
I think broken bones should heal over time, just as wounds and lost blood should recover slowly. It wouldn't be a problem to camp in a forest for a couple hours or even days until you recovered. The annoying thing is having to find morphine without being able to move at a decent speed. Especially since our beloved hardcore players here care sooo much about "realism", nobody can deny that wounds and broken bones DO heal over time...

Essentially agood idea. But lets first make all existing features work as they are intended to work before thinking about additional features.

I already opened a thread about the "breaking bones"-issue this morning (http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=16872). I completly agree with you, something needs to be changed. Lesser change of breaking bones OR more morphine spawns.
