If you did purchase the game I suggest that you re-install both Arma II and Operation Arrowhead. If you did not yet purchase the game you should buy it.

Probably not going to get the FPS that you want with that, even when using low settings.

It probably was someone using scripts to cheat.

Someone must have beat you to the loot, I have not had any problems with finding good items since I started playing (v1.7.1.5).

Either search the forum, there are several guides which mention how to do it or: 1. Search "Battleye" on Google 2. Choose the "download" option below the main website 3. Click on "BE client" and save the file 4. Move the saved .DLL file to the Arma II folder and put it inside the Battleye folder 5. When it asks if you want to "replace or move", chose to replace and overwrite the existing file.

Operating system is an added cost, not included in the price. I hope that you bought it or already own and OS. If you are a student you can (or at least used to be able to) buy a cheap licence for Windows 7

1 TB drive cost me 1/4 of the cost of a 320 GB SSD, so unless you want a very small SSD it is best to buy a good sized hard drive and then if you can afford it later upgrade and add a SSD.

Building your own desktop takes too much time and money? As others have said you can save a lot of money doing it, because you are not paying for the brand. You can assemble a desktop in under an hour, following various guides online, and if that is still too much a risk you can pay for someone or ask a friend to do it. To the OP: If you are going to continue looking at PCs which cost that much of course they will be able to run Arma II and all of the recent releases. Arma II is poorly optimised, so no matter how good your PC is you will probably see a reduced frame rate in places like the cities. I cannot say that I understand people who must maintain 60+ FPS to enjoy playing a game. We manage fine watching movies at 24 frames per second! :rolleyes:

Not all servers have third-person view enabled, so it does not work on some/most.

The number of zombies alive on the server at any given time. The amount decreases when they despawn because a player moves too far away from them. There is a current and total because it takes into account killed zombies, out of the ones currently spawned.

Silenced bullets should travel slower than non-silenced bullets, so the parabolic arc of the bullets should be different. I am sure that the non-silenced bullets are the ones used to calibrate the sights, so that is why silenced bullets do not line up with the sights.

They are the mimimum requirements, your OS is newer and will run it.

There are several programs which do it for you and there are numerous step-by-step guides. If you are not capable then you should not be modding, stick to playing the "vanilla" game for now.

Mouse smoothing set to "1" is also recommended, it will improve your aiming. From my understanding it controls how fast your crosshairs stop moving after you stop moving the mouse. There is a little bit of give to "simulate" when in real life if you spun around whilst holding a weapon you would not stop instantly, you would go slightly past your targeted stop point.

1.5GHz processor cores? That is most likely the reason for poor PC performance, because this game is CPU intensive. AMD processors don't tend to be very well optimised for games as well. I cannot say if that is the reason, it might also be because of the beta patches and I personally cannot take screenshots, it just gives a black screen when I paste it into paint.

There was de-sync issues and the radar was far too overpowered, it shows where all of the other vehicles are on the map. Once those are fixed it should become available again.

No it will not run the game. VRAM probably refers to it using some of the normal RAM to boost the power of the graphics card.

Throw it a long way from you when you use it, there is a large area of damage.

Zombies spawn between you at the loot location/building and they have a tendency to move towards the player. If you stay in one location for too long or speak in the chat it also attracts them apparently.

If the server restarts after you drop it I am sure that it will just disappear, it is not worth the risk.

They cannot, it is controlled by Rocket.

If you keep finding hacked items it will look suspicious, for all they know you have a second character who uses the cheats or a friend who does it. Avoid using hacked items, they are not in the game for a reason. If you happen to find and use one without knowing then you should be ok.
