For your information to downgrade from 94945 to 94876: Browse to: ... your Install Dir (for Steam: \Steam\steamapps\common)' \arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye' Run the BattlEye Uninstaller: 'UnInstallBE.exe' Then delete the contents of the 'beta' directory: '\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta' (don't worry about deleting it as its only the beta exes - if you want you can just rename the beta folder to something else: 'beta_orig' or similar) I personally also had to delete another (cached?) copy of BEClient.dll located in: 'AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye\BEClient.dll' (I use Windows 7 so that is under C:\Users\Name\AppData\... ) Basically as I was logging into a game, it would start loading and then Arma2OA would crash, I looked at Windows Event Viewer and the BEClient.dll in the location above was at fault... Then download the (94876) beta from BI Studios (http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/), direct link: ftp://downloads.bistudio.com/arma2.com/update/beta/ARMA2_OA_Build_94876.zip And run it, it will re-install BattlEye (the version for 94876) and install the beta exes, the two folders will now be repopulated with various files. Then use DayZCommander (http://www.dayzcommander.com/) or SixUpdater (http://www.six-updater.net/) to find a server!

I have also experienced the same, maybe something to do with the updated Battleye?

    MREs

And don't forget the glorious British 24hr rat-pack (ration pack) ... pears in chocolate sauce anyone? blerg... ;)
  4. I don't blame people for hoarding, I would too, but it definitely degrades the experience for anyone else! Necessity dictates behaviour.
  5. This is why I'm curious if they need to maybe re-think the situation on the vehicles, with the new popularity its gone from being challenging to get a vehicle to impossible and for me at least its really taking something away from the game (atm)... Thanks for the link to the map, I had already discovered this little gem. I can confirm that I have trekked to numerous vehicle spawn points, and also switched between servers in my attempts to re-locate a vehicle! ;)
  6. I've noticed that since DayZ's up turn in popularity (every server being full most of the day now) that vehicles are just non-existent? Is this a product of hoarding / bugs, I don't know, but I've trekked to around 12-14 vehicle spawns over the past 3 days and found zero vehicles, not even seen one in 3 days. I had an ATV but it got bugged on a dam and I had to leave it, that was 4 days ago... Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

    Pobeda Dam vehicle flip

I have also experienced this, going onto a dam, the ATV flipped on its side. No way of recovering, appears to be a physics glitch. In the short term maybe a vehicle reset option? To right the vehicle if flipped? Until the physics issue can be addressed in Arma 2 itself?
