VAC BAN - Personal apology and request for consideration

Hi to bohemia interactive staff and the community, I deeply regret to tell you that i've received a VAC ban on the 23rd of September, 2023. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule at the time, i was unable to create an account or address this issue promptly. Sorry I must admit to a grave error in judgment. I've downloaded a .rar file containing cheats from a friend, and naively believed that joining his private server and and the fact that he made me an administrator would pose no risk. We only intended to share a night of lighthearted gaming after dedicating an entire day to DayZ. Our intentions were purely driven by curiosity, without a thought for the potential consequences. I now realize the gravity of my actions and I am sincerely sorry. This one thoughtless act has had far-reaching consequences. It pains me to acknowledge that my Steam account's VAC ban has not only impacted my ability to enjoy other games like Rust, but it has also tarnished my standing within the gaming community. I wholeheartedly cherish my time in DayZ, having accumulated nearly 1000 hours of play. The weight of this situation fills me with profound regret and sadness. I earnestly hope that there may be a way to rectify this unfortunate circumstance. Thank you for your understanding and consideration. Warm regards,
