Improvised sewing and leather repair kits

I'm pretty sure this isn't an entirely new idea, but with the tripled clothing damage Infected do now I think it's become more relevant. I often craft fishing hooks with leftover chicken bones and logically it wouldn't be hard to use fishing hooks as sewing needles. Combining a fishing hook (or multiple hooks) with a full stack of six rags should be able to craft an improvised sewing kit with maybe 2-3 uses before it's consumed. Likewise combining a fishing hook with 2-4 leather scraps should make a improvised leather sewing kit with similar traits. I play a very "live off the land" style and am often solo; I can forage food, build shelters, and mostly get everything I need without a lot of looting but 1-2 mistakes fighting infected or wolves and my entire clothing is badly damaged making my insulation worthless and I have to hope I can find repair kits that haven't been hoovered up by loot goblins. Making the kits need a full stack of rags or multiple leather means there is still some effort in creating them and bones means finding something to skin and quarter. And also gives Leather and Rags more late-game usefulness once a player is otherwise geared up.
