Look on the bright side at least you found something lol Thing is you see people carping on about this vehicle and that but where are they we (group of 4) have been looking for one to help us out we cannot even find a repairable one to start doing it. Which to my mind shows that something is wrong with the vehicle system. We find fuel and parts etc but no base sections to repair we visited 6 sites last over a 4 hr period and nothing whatsoever. Ive never even seen one being driven? I dont know could just be us being unlucky i guess ;P Anyway back on topic with the yelling about tent wiping .... -

Go for it rocket lol If it stops all the greedy bassabs hoarding off the maps where no one can get without a vehicle, fair play to you. Ill loose a bit of stuff but better that for the overall gain :P Shame you can do a reset for all vehicles as well In the three weeks probably ive been playing with my mates i have not yet seen one vehicle other than some daft beggar on a bike with 50 zeds behind him. We have visited site after site looking for vehicles but not a single one, i guess because they are all sat off map where we cant reach them. Definitely needs looking at imho. -

The reason i started playing this mod was to be able to pit my wits against the zeds and sneaking past were possible. I'm a solo player normally haven't played online in years as i just hate the damned camping over spawns and ganging up on other groups and all the $hit with online play. This is the first game in 10 years that has made me want to play with the lads and we work in a team of 4 usually and its great. If i can get into a town raid every last usable bit and get out without being seen then its job well done, that's the way i play. But now its just run into town and don't give a $hit, kinda makes it pointless. But im sure a better way will be found to make this work, we just need to give them time to find a solution. Here's hoping -
When your crouch running with the primary weapon out against with the pistol (secondary) in hand They have different speeds when your traveling Is the aggro distance for zeds the same for both modes?, or does it depend on which weapon you have in hand at the time? Thanks for any replies

The problem for me is balance If im at full run going past at distance id expect aggro if im close enough If im at crouch run and i do something stupid then yes aggro again But if im at crouch walk id expect to be able to sneak around when possible with prone reserved for the Oh $hit there's one over there moments.. Prone should be reserved for tight spots to get somewhere, it should not be mandatory from 200 mts out

Yes they are and its still undergoing tweaking i guess' date=' but the vids were way early when it was before a load of releases Thats the way to look at it lol Its a very good mod, not perfect by any means but its being fine tuned as we go along. Yes its very hard atm but bear with it and im sure the dev team will find a path that works for noobs and experienced alike

Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)

Tested 1.7.1.4 last night on the whole its good, zombies are not stood in buildings any more certain other probs seem to have been solved. But Zombies awareness levels is too high crouch walk is unusable atm, and im not going to be spending all my time in prone to get to a building 200m away, zombies were aggroing for no reason and just running through the hedges and buildings to attack even though they seemed to be way beyond whats possible away from you. About the only way to enter town now is run at full speed through the town into a building kill dozens of zombies, loot said building. Full speed to next building, repeat etc etc We need to be able to sneak around them maybe make them hyper only when facing you if you move. Axes not good, id asume the same for crowbars, can it exist in 2 places at the same time? So its available for chopping wood but if you have no primary weapon it is in both slots? But when you have a primary gun it disappears from the main slot. Or just have crowbars as an aggro weapon and return axes where they were? Can we have random encounters in the forest with zeds or nasty animals, the amount of time we spend in forests and its like a completly safe zone unless a sniper is nearby As a footnote rarely do i compliment games but this has the making of a great game and we spend hours in it. Top marks to rocket for bringing the gaming market back to reality. Keep up the good work
