    I find the fact that people use camps to stash gear in order to reequip new characters to be lame in itself. The point of having permanent death is to force people to start with nothing when they make a new character. If everybody is going to stash items so they can instantly reequip, you may as well start every new character with a primary.

    7 steps to fix "connection failed" and other issues

    Pencil (DayZ) replied to SkreeMcgee's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting

    If I do number 5 it finds and replaces one file. However, once I've done that I get a bad cdkey error when I try to join any server. To fix this I can run the game through steam, however this puts me at the start with the connection failed error and 1 file needing updating. Any tips?
