First proper PvP death ( I'm personally not interested in PvP but I like the spice it brings. Lorry drives past as I'm looting I figure they have bigger fish to fry... Guess I was wrong as I got sniped lol

First Death to Radiation... Radiation at an army base, saw no cloud so either there wasn't one or the rain obscured it. First time killing a pig, gunshot brought infected from all over, good times.

First encounter with wolves... Luckily I got to a cabin and managed to kill them, they don't appear to lose interest like zombies, wolf meat is sh** btw. First Real PvP encounter... Unarmed Fresh spawn meets Fireman Sam with an axe, knockout fireman Sam, kill him with own axe, hide in shop from zombies and wrap wounds... Bleed out and die anyway... F*** I love this game

So I'm UK based and new to Dayz, I was playing Fallout4 for years modded as much as I could to make it more difficult and enjoyable. Dayz is everything I've been looking for and yeah I know I'm late to the party. I'm playing on Xbox on community servers, I'm not interested in PvP but I understand it's part and parcel of experience. It's been a steep learning curve, having to sharpen the stick to cook on was interesting and having the rip open packaging to access the rounds within took a minute to work out. Illness is definitely not fun and yup I've starved (worked out fruit trees and chickens). I've heard there's hackers, I've not experienced it yet, hopefully I won't... so anyway "hi!"

I'm relatively new to Dayz (only a few hours), there are certain tinned items I can't open. It says Right Trigger to open but nothing happens it's been Brisket, Tuna and Pâté, I can open other stuff like Salty Sticks, Cans of Pop, even Beans with a knife... Can anyone offer some advice please?
