After a night of playing on another clan's server, we had a 5 man operation that started with scouting in a biplane to parachuting out and commandeering 5 helicopters. It was an epic night of fun and another successful mission for {SG}. Have A Nice Day {SG} Cpt. Hand

Last night we got into some 1v1 battles on Skalisty Island and it was pretty intense. Only managed to record my personal match, but as far as I was present for, there were only 2 matches. Match 1: Cpt. vSATANv vs. Romper Match 2: Cpt. Hand vs. Lt. Khellus Don't have footage of Match 1, but I was fortunate enough to capture my own match. Hand vs. Khellus http://youtu.be/xE8VrYSfpyE At the end of the night, both Captains won their matches, with Romper falling to SATAN after about a 20 minute man hunt that took both players around the island multiple times. Me and Khellus wanted a quicker match so we both were a little less careful with how we approached the match. I have a feeling if left to his Black Magic, Khellus wouldn't have fallen that night. Update on the Alpha v. Bravo conflict on US 175. After Col. Tom organized an operation for both teams to enter Elektro and capture 2 vehicles, lead started flying, people started dying, and in the end Alpha took home the Little Bird! You want to know why all bandits shoot on sight? It's because at one point early in our DayZ lives, we trusted people who stabbed us in the back. Hero skin or not, you cannot trust anyone in DayZ if you expect to live long. Because 9 times out of 10, you will be shot at by the person you come across. I'm not going to wager my time on the 1/10 odds someone isn't going to shoot at me. However, there are some very few cases where if I come across a fresh spawn in Cherno and I manage to sneak up behind them, I will at least tell them to get on the ground and give me their name(s). Depending on how they react, I usually let them live and tell them where any weaponry I've stumbled upon might be. On a side note, people who sit up in the hills and camp like little boys with big toys need to man up and head into the thick of the city and try a real gunfight; that's where the real skill and fun lies.

Yup. It's the same thing with the bandit mask as well. I haven't yet murdered anyone on my current life, but I have had dozens spread around my last few lives. Yes you need either +5,000 to get the Hero skin, or -5,000 to get the bandit mask. Word for the wise, they only show up when you don't have another skin equipped. You must have Civilian clothing on for it to work. Not quite sure if the bandit mask stays on with bandit skin though; I have yet to find one.

Whenever your skin changes, your debug monitor resets. So don't be alarmed by this.

I play on that server, what exactly was your name? And since there are no name plates on that server, how did you know it was the admin? Considering there are a lot of people who snipe in Cherno on a daily basis (me included) how on earth could you be certain? Sounds to me like you are just a whiny complainer who just got seriously owned by a sniper because of your bad tactics.

Well, the only thought I have on this is that .50 caliber sniper rifles are just too common right now. That's partially due to earlier patches allowing for such easy duplication that you could turn one lucky find into an entire personal armory. Add on top of that the recent onslaught of scripters giving themselves and other players AS50's, they are just everywhere. Having said that, the passage of AS50's between players is pretty common so finding one is not necessarily surprising anymore. I'm just hoping that when the stand alone game is released, there are more measures to ensure that finding weapons as powerful as the AS50 are greater.

It disappeared after server reset. And I just assumed at the start because the guy who we had killed out of it had nothing on him but the fresh spawn equipment. i.e. flashlight, painkillers.

As much as I hate scripters and people who cheat, I got to admit there was one I encountered last night that scared the life out of me. So right after me and a bud of mine logged in, we immediately heard a little girl laughing and singing "ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies." Which needless to say, was scary as hell to hear in the first place. Then we heard nothing for about 2 minutes or so but I didn't want to chance giving our position away to any players who might have coincidentally been in our vicinity. If I wasn't scared before, it wasn't until we heard the "grudge girl" noise right behind us. As I turned around, there stood a man with a hatchet, face painted up like a clowns, GOD MODE ENABLED, and hacked both me and my friend to bits. Two things: 1. Touche for scaring the living daylight out of us, that was pretty original and pretty funny at the same time. 2. You're a low life, god mode enabling cheater that deserves to get hit by a bus.

I don't know if it was the same guy, but that's almost exactly what had happened to me and my bud. Except I'm guessing he was behind us the entire time because I didn't see him until the end lol. +1 for creativity There are some other good ones too. Like this guy: He actually inspired me to try hiding and whispering "I see you" to people and yelling like I was dying and I needed help. Needless to say it was pretty amusing watching them just run around trying to find where you are.
