Hello,
I propose a suggestion to enhance the cooking experience by adjusting the cooking times based on the calorie values of different foods. It seems more precise, engaging, and equitable if the cooking time aligns with the type of food being prepared. Consider the contrast between beef/bear steaks or fish, which are significantly larger than wolf or stag steaks, yet they currently require the same cooking duration. Additionally, smaller steaks, including fish, necessitate disproportionately longer cooking periods to achieve comparable results. Presently, there appears to be limited motivation to hunt small animals for their meat due to the extensive cooking time required for just a few portions of wolf meat. To address this issue, an alternative approach could be implemented, such as assigning cooking times as follows:
Cooking time for small steaks: base cooking time multiplied by 0.7
Cooking time for large steaks: base cooking time multiplied by 1.5
These are of course theoretic values and would require testing.
Thanks for consideration!
