Yeah, that's an issue with servers, nothing on your end. Typically, server versions may be outdated whilst some will be the current version (while both will still be running 1.7.2). Find a server that is current and stick to it. Hope this helps mate!

Hey mate, appreciate the long thread detailing your problem. Unfortunately, you picked a bad day to download Arma 2 and the mod, DayZ. A new patch just came out a few hours, and with it came a few bugs. The issue you're describing is outlined in this thread: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=32422 Rocket (the Developer) recently said that a fix is on its way very soon, that will fix this issue: "Server side update released, details emailed to all server providers. This solves the loading issue. Confirmed on multiple servers with full client numbers." If you've got any more concerns let me know. Cheers.

Yeah, I thought that too. But when I created a new ID, my old character was wiped and all my settings had gone back to default. I don't know, just trying to help as this issue has never arose before.

Okay, please follow these steps: 1.Make a new non-steam shortcut, choose Browse then browse to your operation arrowhead directory, go into expansion then go into beta. Click on ArmA2OA.exe in that folder and choose Open. The box will close so then choose Add Selected Programs button in the steam add programs box. 2.Find the shortcut you just made in your Steam library, right click and choose properties. 3.Delete the target line. 4.Rename the steam shortcut whatever you want. 5.Now edit the following text in notepad or something similar to include your paths. (If you have both Arrowhead and both ArmA2 on Steam you won't need to edit the paths, assuming you have kept the default installation location for Steam and run a 64bit OS.) Hey, They are caused from wire being placed on the ground from other players. They can occasionally cause graphical issues when the wire conflicts with another object. Hope I could help.

I wouldn't blame the community for a bug that is widely known to exist, that's all. You're literally a 10-15 minute run away from food supplies, head east mate.

Try a different server... It doesn't matter what server it is, as long as you can connect. I'm not quite sure what overlay you're referring to, but if this is causing the issue then it is up to you whether or not you want to play the game. Cheers, hope I could help!

Hey mate, This bug is extremely rare, so you're quite unlucky (or lucky, depending on how you want to play the game). It appears that because you entered a non-hive server, your character ID has been glitched. It's briefly discussed (albeit not directly) on this thread here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=30870 Unfortunately, my only advice is for you to delete your character from the main menu settings and create a new one. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Debug field is a bug relating to the game itself. You should be fine to join other servers provided they are on your current version. I advise you to run 15 minutes east/south-east, or hit respawn. Hope I could help!

I believe this is a bug relating to the free version of the game. Unfortunately, there isn't much known on it except that the bug was fixed when the full version of Arma was bought. It's clearly only affecting an extremely small portion of users using the free version. I suggest changing some of your settings around (turn shadows and post-processing effects off). Sartus, I suggest that you should take a break from testing the mod and come back when the mod is out of it's Alpha state. The mod will be much more enjoyable for you then. The information regarding scripting on Arma 3 is incorrect. Hope I could help, cheers.

Hi, As other threads mention, the only fix right now is to run East/South-East for 15 minutes. You should see grass textures and that means you're back in the map. Hope I could help.
