If you're referring to the troubleshoot section of the forum, someone bumped up heaps of old topics with his copy/paste advice, "Update to 1.7.2.1".

Are you sure you aren't running 1.7.1.5? Seeing as you can connect to those servers but not 1.7.2 servers. Try reinstalling Battleye and put into folder as instructed on the download page - this should fix your issue. http://www.battleye.com/download.html -

Hi, You're welcome to try Tops' idea, but I don't believe this will resolve your issue. The loading screen is a bug present post 1.7.2. A new hotfix is currently available which fixes this issue (1.7.2.1). Cheers.

Yeah, you should be able to play while encountering that error. I suggest you wait a day until 1.7.2.1 is officially released and stable where this issue has be illeviated. Hope I could help! -

You can run the .exe without DayZ and play Arma. Hope I helped! -
Hi, Try running Steam as an admin. Steam has to edit the registry to apply Arma 2 keys when you run the game. This may not be happening correctly. This issue can also be fixed by checking the integrity files of ArmA OA via steam, then re downloading 128mb worth of files. Let me know if this helps - it should. Cheers.

Thankfully the build is still in alpha state. If this is seriously affecting you, I suggest coming back when the beta build is released. Hopefully testing the beta build won't be as troublesome as it is for you now. Cheers.

Guys, relax. There is a new hotfix (1.7.2.1) being tested as of 10 hours ago. Hopefully this fixes your issue.

Hi, I believe you run slower depending on a few factors including; health and the amount of items in your inventory. Ensure you have double tapped the 'W' key to run as fast as possible. Hope I could help you!

Hi, I already addressed this issue in your previous topic, but I'll repeat myself: This is a bug. If you open the backpack you should see your items, just not in the traditional view you typically see when opening the backpack infront of loot. Find some loot, push G, and open your backpack from there to visually see your items (and the spaces inside the backpack). Hope I could help! -

But surely this isn't a huge issue for you? Whilst it may be slightly inconvenient and only appeared post 1.7.2, you are still able to play both Arma and DayZ. I'm going to assume that this "feature" better stabilised DayZ. -
Oh sorry, I misread the initial post as you ended the post by saying, "What's up with this? The game worked yesterday". I have no experience with the experimental patch, so I am unable to assist you. I'll assume that however you're launching the game isn't recognising the newly updated files (I don't know because you didn't mention this in the intial post). Cheers.

Server Persistence Issues

The only reason I suggest this is because when I tried to resolve this issue two days with someone (and another person, too!), I suggested this advice and he never returned. I assume this fixed his problem, but I have no way to tell. Whilst it is connected to the cd key, creating a new character ID resets everything back to the default settings. Assuming your character ID is glitched, creating a new ID may address your issue. You may be able to create a 'new' ID (but name it the exact same) and still resolve your problem. -

I believe it is in the player settings of the Arma main menu. Again, I am unaware if this fixes the issue. Cheers. -

You should be looking for grass and tree textures. -

Hi, I'm confused as to what you are trying to do. If you are launching DayZ, you will only be able to play DayZ, not the core Arma game. Cheers.
