  1. It's at the south end. If you're crawling' date=' you'd best hope there's a box of supplies out back or on the roof (and remember to remove the other loot that's "under" the box first, then look at it again). In my experience, it's impossible to get through the front windows without functioning legs.

Thanks man I found it! After losing 8k blood of course lol. Now I'm in desperate need of a blood transfusion.

  2. This same exact story happened to me, except I was the one giving a blood transfusion to a guy who was geared up. Everything went almost exactly the same but we were in Cherno. We hid in a corner and I gave him a BT and he returned the favor, then he dropped a shotgun for me, although I told him I didn't really want anything in return. As we're about to leave, he gets domed by a bandit. I have no choice but to loot this stranger which I was going to call my friend, and then on my way out the sniper got me as well. Good thing is, I respawned in Elektro so I ran as fast as I could and relooted everything while the sniper was searching elsewhere. Those darn bandits ruining great moments. I have yet to kill anyone, I don't want to stoop to the level of a bandit. It sure has cost me tons of gear though.

  3. I have a story similar to your first.

I too was looting by myself near a barn and as I headed in I got attack by 1 zombie that left me with broken legs. I managed to crawl towards a hatchet and kill him while only losing about a 1/3 of m health. At this point I'm in the barn alone and zombies keep swarming. I manage to kill 11 zombies with a hatchet all the while I have broken legs. Time passes and I realize I'm pretty much a goner with no morphine in range.

All of a sudden, two fresh spawns start speaking on side chat and I invite them into the barn. They see the crippled situation I'm in and offer help, but there is no morphine anywhere near this barn, so I drop my hatchet and tell them to kill me with it so that they can loot my glorious supplies of meds and food.

They told me that they would never forget me, Jose "The Legend" as they coined me. They said stories would be told of Jose, the crippled man who killed 11 zombies with a hatchet and sacrificed himself for the good of others. They probably died a few hours later anyways, but it was a fun experience.

  4. Smarteenie? is that you?

It'll be hilarious if that's you.

Anyway' date=' I'm assembling a small crew of up to 6 players I'm looking for mature guys at least 16 y/o..

And, if you're Smarteenie so.. We were waiting for you at the damn lighthouse for like 20 minutes so we left. I still have some supplies with me that I can give to you if you want.

Sadly, I am not Smarteenie. Funny though, isn't it, the experiences you can have with people on this game. I swear this game is so much more fun playing with friendlies, but damn cold-blooded killers don't value the game for the events that can occur when playing as a team.

  5. I broke my leg while crawling apparently, and I've managed to kill 10 zombies with a hatchet while prone because I can't stand due to my broken legs. I've tried bandaging myself twice and taking painkillers but it won't go away. Are my legs broken forever?

  6. Mind posting a step-by-step?

Assuming you have an AMD graphics card, you should have the default driver program for it which is Catalyst Control Center. It lets you tweak several settings for your graphics card. If you don't have it you can download it from the AMD website under drivers.

All I did was open up Catalyst Control Center and I went section by section under "Video" and "Gaming", setting everything to default. After that I launched ARMA 2 again and it fixes the texture issues, although the scenery still seems a bit blurry but that might just be me.

  7. This is a setting in your catalyst control center. Revert them all to standard or application controlled. I had the same issues.

Thank you so much I 1+ this. If you guys have an ATI/AMD graphics card this is most likely the solution.

  8. I know this is more of an ARMA 2 issue than it is DayZ, but has anyone else experienced blocky texture issues while running ARMA 2? Here's some pictures of what ARMA 2 looks like while running on my laptop:

As you can tell the trees, bushes, and grass have block textures and are not transparent. This happens everywhere, from the main menu to in-game. My system specs are as follows:

    Lenovo Y560P

    8GB RAM

    1GB ATI Radeon HD 6570M

    Intel i7 @ 2.0GHz

I've tried updating to the latest drivers from the AMD website and I've also tried different screen resolutions and quality settings. I can run BF3 and Diablo 3 on high settings, so I'm positive this is most likely a graphics card issue and not hardware.

Sorry if there has been reposts about this as well, I don't want to hijack any threads and the ones I found hadn't been solved yet.

EDIT: Solved. I saw this in another thread.
