    I was killed by a hacking admin. I killed him on his clan's server with my MK48 and then he TPd us all to the NW Airfield to blow us up with satchels.

    Bummer. Hacking is getting way out of hand. It makes me not want to play anymore after dieing like that in such an awesome moment. Then again, they probably felt like shit too after losing hours of work in as little as 5 seconds.

    My DayZ experience yesterday:

    I was heading east at night time across some fields looking for bike spawns when a truck drives along the road and stops at a T-intersection. They park it and 2 guys get out and meet with a third at the spot. They run around for a while and eventually stop in the road, all of them having their backs turned to me.

    I crept up silently and unloaded about 20 bullets of an M249 SAW that a friend had given me the day before. Two died instantly, one was unconscious and I finished him off in person. Their truck was storing an armory of four LMG's, four rifles, two snipers, and all sorts of utilities like NVG's and Rangefinders.

    I drove the hell out and immediately got in contact with my squad and we distributed all the goods. We were about to switch servers when we all got killed by a hacker. That was immediately followed by a server restart so everything was lost. What a poor sport, but quite the experience. Being that they were hackers, maybe the items were hacked or duped, but there was only 1 of each weapon at the time.

    Moral of the story: FUCK HACKERS. Lesson learned, leave a server immediatley after killing someone from now on or face the wrath of PO'd hackers. Also, carry an M249 SAW at all times.

    Bandits, be careful around server US 2503 Dallas, for it is the home of douchebags, babies, poor sports, and hackers.

    Nope. I've been waiting for a bike to spawn for a while and to keep busy I would run down the hill towards fresh spawns being chased by zombies to save them. I even gave one an AK-74 that the dude on the bike had. The opportunity was there and I had to take it. Had I ran up to him while he had a weapon chances are the guy on the bike would have killed me.

    I just sniped a guy off his bicycle, sorry to whomever it was. I was looking for one to spawn all day and I saw you coming from a mile away. I wasn't going to kill him, I just told myself if I don't get him in one shot then i'll let him go on as he pleased. One shot at 200m was all it took. I don't play like a bandit, but i've been looking for a bicycle for myself and a friend for days now.

    Anyways, on to the trade. I have a bicycle which I don't plan on using anymore because my friend won't log on anytime soon for me to be able to do anything with it. If your in need of a reliable vehicle to get up North, this bicycle is for you. All I ask for is a ghillie suit.

    I stopped playing Dayz for an entire week, because I got pretty busy. Last I remember, I'm 100% sure I logged off outside Elektro with an M107, several rounds for it, and an alice pack with tons of medical supplies and an M4A1.

    Today(1 week later),I log on to find out the I have camo clothing in my inventory, the same M107 but only with extra rounds this time, a pair of NVG's and range finders. WTF. I mean it's a major upgrade, but I've lost my alice pack even though its still strapped to my back. I can't open any bags because theres nothing in that slot. I don't care what I lost in that bag, because NVG's and Rangefinders are a big upgrade to my M107.

    Anyways! Obviously, no one can play or has been playing on my account, because I'm at the same spot. Did I join a hacked server? Should I be happy, or does this seem kind of fishy?

    Steam made me update my ARMA 2 CO and now its broken. Every time I try to join any server, I get kicked out instantly. It seems like Battleye is trying to update itself but fails in doing so. I've tried reinstalling Battleye, but I get a missing string error. Has anyone figured out whats going on? I've seen topics on this, but no solutions. Note, I have also tried laucnhing from SixUpdater. As far as I know I'm on the newest beta.

    Hey guys, I've been playing solo for a while now and I've come to the point where I am searching for teammates. I've always been friendly, but trusting people I meet ingame is always my downfall resulting in deaths to bandits. I've learned enough of this game already to take care of myself, just looking for more people that would like to accompany me. I'm geared for survival already and I'm on my way to Stary Sobor.

    I have Skype and Teamspeak. I generally use only Skype but I can use Steam voice chat as well.

    I live on the West Coast PST -8:00. I'm generally on Seattle servers but I can play mostly anywhere, I'm also on almost every day after 5:00pm and earlier before that on my days off.

    Certain buildings spawn weapons, others won't spawn any at all.

    Take a look at this map and next time you respawn just find a building that spawns military loot near your location.

    Anyways, make a quick run on the firehoues in Elektro/Cherno in low populated servers and you should be able to pick up and AK, an M16, or an M1014 shotgun. Office buildings will spawn M1911 and Revolvers as well. Good luck!

    I play just fine without third person, but my friend likes to play 3DP lobbies and I feel like I'm at a disadvantage all the time. I've tried pressing FN + Enter, and there doesn't seem to be a key binding for third person. Have any of you solved this problem?

    Since removing the skin, this hearbeat system was implemented. I just don't understand exactly how it works though, because the heartbeats come up randomly.

    From what I understood on reading FAQ's, if you aim at someone, you can hear their hearbeat and the louder it beats the more people they killed.

    This doesn't make sense to me because I'll be traveling without looking at anyone and I'll hear the hearbeat sound turn on randomly. It seems like the system is more of a proximity system. Does it turn on when a bandit is near you, or when a bandit is aiming at you?

    Date/Time: 6/27/2012, 2:52PM PST (GMT-8:00)

    What happened:

    Ate food and drank water. Logged in 10 minutes later and realized I wasted all that I ate and drank, because my health reverted back to where it was(went back to 4.7k bloods from 8k bloods). Food and water was shown as red too even though I had recently ate and drank.

    Where you were:

    Stary Sobor supermarket and then the forest area outside Stary Sobor.

    What you were doing:

    Ate about 6 cans of food at the Stary Sobor supermarket. After this, I traveled into the wilderness and about 30 minutes in I found a hog. I cooked its meat and ate 2 pieces. This topped me off at 8k health, from my original 4.7k. I logged out for 10 minutes. Logged back in to find I was in the same spot where I had logged out, but none of the food or drinks registered. My hunger and thirst were back at red and my blood low once again even though I had everything in the green range when I logged out.

    *Current installed version:

    1.7.1.5 + Beta

    *Server(s) you were on:

    Not sure the exact one, but it was US server with hardcore mode.

    *Your system specs:

    Intel i7, 8GB RAM, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 6570M, Windows 7.

    *Timeline of events before/after error:

    Spawn near Stary Sobor Supermarket, looted it for food, at about 6 cans or more.

    Refill water bottle in pond at Stary Sobor.

    Head NW into the wilderness, find a hog, gut it, cook the meat, and ate it.

    Continue heading NW for about 10 minutes.

    Logged off.

    Log in to see nothing had registered.

    Looking for some decently geared fellows to accompany me in my venture North to Stary Sobor and then NE Airfield. Planning on hitting the real bandits(not some weaksauce fresh spawn snipers in Electro/Cherno) in their territory. Of course, the loot should be great as well. Looking for people who can Skype.

    I posted a thread last night explaining the dire situation I'm in. Well things got just a tiny bit better before they got worse.

    I crawled with broken limbs for 2 hours yesterday in Berezino to reach the hospital. During these two hours, I had several skirmishes with zombies that left me with 1.5k blood remaining. I finally arrived at the hospital and fixed my broken limbs, but I am really low on health.

    I'm asking anyone in the Berezino area to meet up with me so I can have a blood transfusion, and I have an extra blood pack to return the favor.

    As for rewards, I only have a M1911 pistol for myself at the moment, but I can help you loot Berezino, especially the military tents, and you'll get first preference on weapons.
