i have read numerous posts on this subject (i apologize for another one...) just wanted to put my observations down in game they strike a cord with someone who knows how to fix or at least explain what is happening. i just dled the game for the first time, yesterday. i get that /config/weapon error thing, i ignore it and click ok. i search for a server which is the same version as me (1.7.1.4, i think i am, but its whatever version came out yesterday) i am stuck in first person, i see some people, what appears to be some kind of NPC, and the odd player who i can kill and loot, but who doesent seem to really be able to react to me. the landscape is just ground, no trees, water, buildings, or anything. i can run forever without anything really changing. I found an NPC standing in a pile of dead lootable bodies. i have aborted, and i have killed myself, nothing changes when i reappear. I'm assuming this is just a little glitch to do with the new patch. has anyone had any success moving on into the real game after having this issue? the landscape

im in the same trouble. i just made a post about it. ill continue to try to figure it out, and ill tell you if i find the solution.
