"I enjoy hoarding. I don't do it with cars..." I don't think anyone cares then. Loot is infinite, vehicles are finite. Vehicles are also unique fun in DayZ, so peole are hogging all the fun.

Go back to where you found the jeep and destroy the rest of those people's vehicles. Hoarders suck.

Sounds okay to me. You're already limited to one server anyways if you want to make use of tents or vehicles. -
Of course for that you'll need a hatchet, hunting knife, and a box of matches. Or find one of those premade fireplaces.

It's certainly possible but it's still too dark. The worst part is that navigating is almost impossible. You can't even see the road you're trying to follow. -

Seeing as how there are less players at night because of the darkness, this really is another thread complaining about the darkness. -
I'm more concerned with vehicle hoarding in particular. That's just lame seeing as how they are finite. Everyone else has to walk past all that industrial loot or hold on to some against all hope of actually finding a vehicle. And the best tool for finding more vehicles is a vehicle, so the problem is exacerbated from the start.

Shut up with the "it's in alpha" tripe. What you're really saying is that you agree with him that at the current point in time, the zombie AI is broken. And it is. Seeing as how it's a major aspect of the game, it should be focused on and fixed as soon as possible. Also, it's not your place to worry about the supposed limitations of the ArmA engine. That's the devs' problem. We say what we want to see and they can fall short if that's the way it has to be or they don't have the skill. -
Your character can persist even if you alt+f4. Some MMO's have this and it works fine.

I did it in Cherno just fine. I also watched someone else die because they were training zombies and got trapped. What you're doing is a poor way to play the game even if it may be effective. It should get patched eventually. Everyone will be in a situation where they are helpless to be shot. Losing your cool because of it and playing like you are always in someone's crosshair isn't really the best course of action.

Aggro from sound is all you really have to worry about. You basically just have to walk everywhere in towns, which seems ok to me. I don't know why people think they need to prone everywhere. I walk upright through towns and have little problem if I take my time and am vigilant.

Play on hardcore servers. I meet more friendlies than hostiles on them. Bandits like their third person and peripheral BS. Just rolled up on two strangers at the big factory in an offroader. They saw me before I saw them, but they didn't shoot. Ended up giving one a ride to Berezino and the other elected to stay.

It would be the best if you had a medevac chopper. You'd have to have a crew so it wouldn't get jacked though. -

It goes through all objects. It's basically a shitty wallhack and any servers that have it enabled suck. -

How about outhouses? Saw an Alice pack in one and couldn't get it. Managed to get everything around it, as buggy as that already is, because I heard you need to but couldn't get that pack for the life of me. -

People don't trust easily in this game, not sure why you think otherwise. Some people actually try to co-operate, because it can be fun, but them getting shot in the back doesn't necessarily mean they've been outsmarted or anything. -
I imagine SD ammo is supposed to be subsonic ammo. Assuming ArmA 2 coincides with real life, using SD ammo should make report quieter but still loud. You should need both a silencer and SD ammo to get the full effect.

You really don't need to invoke realism for your position. Fixing nighttiime is utterly superior gameplay wise as well, as long as it isn't so bright that you don't need lights in buildings or at a distance. Which should be easy now that gamma is fixed.

Yeah, got a point? Going to bring up something Rocket said on an occasion where he was talking out of his ass? How many bullets it takes to kill a zombie is a balance question. If you think 1000 is fine and dandy then continue to disagree.
