I think a survivor camp would be awesome,maybe even have it with a safezone like life missions where people can't kill each other in it and have some sort of trade menu to easily trade between players.But any camp at all would be cool and would make people play as a team more rather than solo hitman style.

Ok so now that theres alot of servers for Dayz, i've started to see 1st peron only settings.It seems like its server specific and only on UO servers.Its scaring me that these settings should even be allowed,the UO guys are always screaming about how all servers should have this,but in reality these settings are shit,thats the reason why not alot of people play when those settings are in effect,not saying that some people enjoy them more than others,but the fact is that if most servers start using these settings this mod will lose traction.Some people like to call it a "noob filter" but for a player like myself who can play just as good on 1st or 3rd its just a uncalled for inconvenience,i play arma to play in 3rd person,if i really want to play 1st peron i can go play BF3 or better yet for realism PR.This whole scenario also brings up another problem,now that the people who put up the servers get to put there name on it we are back to one of the majpr problems with arma and some could say PC gaming in general,fighting for population.Right now there is not a problem but when theres not as many players across all servers theres going to be problems with ruining someone elses server to get people to play on yours.I assume since ive already heard UO players talking shit about everyone elses servers that the UO guys were on the forefront of this movement to get names put on the servers by that i mean "hosted by...." its sad that you the developers have let people like this sink their teeth into this mod already,and i hope you guys fix this, because in the end it will hurt the mod and the end user,the "casual player".if you look at these guys mods and population on them you can see how they royally messed up their own servers and mods with the nazi attitudes and settings that even hardcore players like myself disagree with.For the record its not just UO,its UO,7th Cav,82nd,some might say 15thmeu.We all know these guys to be assholes and have crazy stuff on their servers for the most part and what i said above can apply to all of them.My solution is to enforce certain settings across the board and get rid of "hosted by..." if you set up a donation page for dayz im sure you could get enough donations to put all these servers up on your own with the money. P.S i have not as of today to my knowledge been banned from any of the above mentioned clans servers EVER,so my comments are not based on some hatred for being banned by being an asshat or script kiddie.This post is made of my own opinions based on over a thousand hours of arma2 gameplay.I LOVE this mod and dont want to see it go down the drain like the others i have seen.

I feel that i am a decent player and i have been and do get killed by making stupid decisions, ie trusting people or running into a horde of zombies for fun:) But since i have started playing this mod i have certain things effect me that could only be done by an admin who doesn't particularly like me or some sort of bug. 1.My longest character ever gets lost in i believe 1.22 update,when i saved and left i was fine and healthy like 12 k blood, m240b 2 sets of nvgs ammo food rangefinder coyote backpack.I spawn in and i am knocked out and bleeding out at the same time i then lose that character. 2.i get a m4sd,nvgs,ranefinder,m107 tws,coyote backpack.i play this character for several hours then i went down to chernogorsk set up a tent,i had plenty of food and water and was in the green all the way when i saved and left.i Come back approximatley 10 hours later and i have been completley reset,i started out with noob gear at the beach and the tent that had been set up wasnt mine.Again another loss of epic gear that shouldn't have happened. 3.Today i had a m107tws and a revolver,this was my character for the last about 24 hours,i had saved with the m107tws on the airfield with 9k blood,when i came back i had no m107 and 4k blood.i was still alive but died very soon after because of not being able to see anything. While these are the main 3, i have lost stuff in similar ways just the losses were not as great.These things have devastated my gameplay making it almost seem useless to play now if i'm just going to get screwed over within a day or so by some bug/deletion that kills me.
