All of your reasons just sound like "This will stop me from logging out and exploiting the game because I'm a selfish child and if I can't win, then I'm going to take my ball and go home." Grow up, chump. -

Would be nice. Probably limited because of ARMA. In "real life" you have absolutely no idea who is friend or foe without very specific indicators. Real life does not have a "group" function, or a friends list. I think there are much more important things that need to happen. No. Would be nice. I don't like that my rifle has a sling when I'm carrying a handgun, but is mysteriously absent when I'm carrying a hatchet. Has been suggested 600 times. Today. No. A million times no. Yes.

You're an idiot. I love how you equate not being allowed to lock your DayZ server to "not having a backbone in life." Enjoy your summer vacation, because once it's over, I'll be wanting fries with my meal.

The people who lock servers and make it so only their friends can join are not playing the game the way it was intended to be played. And since this is Rocket's game, he determines whether or not people should be allowed the privilege to play his game.

Not even close. There are enough weapons in the game as it is. The game needs less NATO weaponry and more Eastern Bloc, and especially more civilian weaponry. Also why the hell would you suggest weapons from Fallout? How could they possibly fit into the theme of this game? EDIT: I'm sure being born in 1993 and misspelling your username in the first place should've been my first hints. -
Yeah, regenerating all of your blood over a period of time twenty times longer than the average lifespan, SO BAD.

I actually really like this. Disconnecting within about a minute of taking ANY damage should simply kill your character. This would solve a lot of PVP problems. The cowards that DC to avoid death are ruining a huge aspect of the game.

"For some people, DayZ may simply just not be the game for them." One of the best, most overlooked and underappreciated concepts right here. Kudos to you. It doesn't matter what YOU personally want in a game. This game concept is something a lot of us have been waiting a long time for. And unfortunately for a lot of you, it isn't exactly the way you want it to be. And for the most part, I wouldn't expect the game to be radically different when it's done. Most of the major mechanics are already in the game. Most of what people post in the suggestion forum aren't really suggestions or good ideas, they're demands. They all revolve around DEMANDING that the game be modified to their own vision, which is almost always outside of the scope of the game. Not only is that rude, but it's extremely disrespectful. You're playing DayZ, and it is not your game. Learn to accept it. If the game is not what you want, stop playing it. Check back in a month, and decide if it earns your personal seal of approval. But most of all, learn to accept that DayZ is being made in someone else's vision. -

On a wired connection, pulling your plug doesn't work that way. It takes a few minutes for your computer to realize that it isn't receiving any packets back from the server. In almost every single instance that I've seen in a large number of games, when a player suddenly loses their connection, their character remains in the game for several minutes. As to fixing the Alt-F4 problem: Hard code ALT+F4 as a suicide command that has no "are you sure?" pop-up. This way, not only does your character kill himself, but then your game closes on top of that. Adding insult to injury. And lastly, the often-mentioned delay before you can "log out." Stops people from logging out while they're being chased by zombies, and it also prevents players from disconnecting to avoid death in PVP. -

This line of thinking is simply, and frankly, stupid. The game doesn't need any gamey efforts to "bring the community together." People need to understand that "bandits" are just as much a part of the game as grouping up with other survivors. The people who want to buff one and nerf the other have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. You want to punish people whose idea of survival means preemptively killing potential threats. FAIL. -
Maybe not instant blood regain. I think that should be saved for blood transfusions. I think maybe, however, the act of eating food speeds up your blood regeneration rate for an amount of time, dependent on what you're eating.

Bingo. Fixed item spawns would mean that everyone would have the same (ie: the best) gear. Server hopping would be just as bad (if not worse) if there were fixed spawns. Also, way too much TL;DR. You can call yourself a writer when you're actually published. Nobody needs a wall of text for what amounts to be a fairly simple concept. -
The sense of self-entitlement. "I can play this game, therefore it must be as polished as possible and do what I want OTHERWISE I'M GONNA THROW A FIT."

If RPG elements are introduced to the game that includes wilderness foraging, I would totally be in favor of it. As it stands now, I don't like the idea of everyone being an expert outdoorsman, eating everything they can find in the woods.

Got to love a jackass who can read a single sentence devoid of any detail, and come up with this load of BS. Nobody said anything about regenerating 12,000 blood within 15 seconds. The discussion is regenerating at all. Try to be less of a jackass. Blood regeneration would make a lot more sense than cooking an entire cow, and eating the entire cow to replenish your blood supply (something that eating a lot of food will not actually do ... ). If I had to put a number on it, I would say 2 points of blood regenerated every 10 seconds. Which makes 12 blood per minute, or 720 blood per hour. At this rate, it would take (at the absolute most) about sixteen (16) and a half hours. This means you would not regenerate blood fast enough to make it worth your while to just sit and regenerate - you would still need to seek medical aid for serious injuries. I would also say this regeneration can only occur if: Both hunger and thirst are green, and you have not taken damage within the last 60 seconds.

Since morphine is THE pain reliever...it should relieve pain.

Morphine should function as a higher level pain killer, so that you wouldn't have to carry both painkillers and morphine. Perhaps morphine could relieve pain (and maybe other conditions) and give a fairly small amount of blood back at the same time.
