Because a lot of servers are hosted on VPS or slotted and it takes a lot of HDD power to signature check files. Personally it's why I just put an SSD in my server, so I can have it enabled without effecting performance.

Takes like 10 mins to get BEC set up and configured, 25 if you have a really complicated scheduler.

Your not supposed to have it on but if your running a server you can always take the chance, just don't be too surprised if there's consequences.

All servers (US128, US167 and US302) are now back up and running. The servers are now using an Intel SSD, so hopefully we'll see better performance/ loading times when servers are full.

Do you actually run your own server? It's not about willing to run day/night cycle. DayZ becomes easily unsynched with server time, if your servers restarts are every 8 hours you going to have at least 4+ hours of lost time, especially now with the latest patch and the increase in disk usage.

I personally restart my servers 4 times a day to try and keep the time within a few hours of reality.

I probably wouldn't bank on joining servers like that in the future as they will probably be blacklisted sooner or later.

sounds like a personal problem, why do you expect everyone to troubleshoot your problems, when you can't figure it out for yourself. Being reliable isn't for everyone,
