    Because you can't kick people to only play with your friends. It's against the rules the server owner accepted when he got his own server.

    In order to turn side chat on you have to edit the mission file which is against DayZ rules.

    IMO Host Altitude is the best server hosting company. Great customer service and great up time for dedicated servers.I have had no problems and they have even had techs at my server a 9PM to install SSD's

    I doubt it has to do with the HIVE I have a dedicated server and I run perfectly, it more than likely had to do with HFB but it's easier to deny than support.

    DayZ staff has said 150-200 M/s Ping limits are acceptable. I don't feel like finding the thread where it was posted, but you can kick for high pings.

    Mines in Dallas Texas, and from paying till it was operational was less than 24 hours. I have had it for 2 months now and im extremely satisfied, especially now that they installed in SSD into my server, alot better performance.

    I have my servers set to warn people at 15, 10, 5, 1 min till restart and just have the normal day/night cycle.

    but will be eventually, I banned 1 person and had DEVS in my TS3 in 10 mins telling me I can't do that, all things take time.

    Expensive?, when compared to other hosting companies not really, you'd be hard pressed to find a dedicated server with a Intel Xeon E3-1230 v2 with 16 gigs of ram on a 1 Gb connection with 30 TB of bandwidth elsewhere this cheap. I have one myself and love it, talked to them the other day in getting a SSD installed and they had a tech go out at 7PM and install it.

    Probably shouldn't do that as vehicles and tents are saved on the HIVE, it's not possible to delete everything and restart from scratch.

    Reassigned? What do you mean by that you changed instance ID's or restarted the mission?

    There's only 1 hive, unless you play on a private one which isn't supported.

    For BEC? it's pretty simple to get the scheduler set up. I personally run the service with Fire Daemon and just use BEC # shutdown for the auto restart. Can post if you really want it.

    Their saved on the HIVE which is why on some restarts it doesn't load tents or cars. You don't see your tents on other servers because it's saved to the servers instance ID //100 posts woooo

    Restarting the mission doesn't start it from scratch, as everything is saved on the HIVE and it just reloads it.

    I have my dedicated through Host Altitude, really good customer service and great servers with good connection. I'm running all 3 of my servers and my TS3 on my one box. Their Colo is reliable and fast in Dallas where mine is hosted, they had a tech Install another SSD on my machine last night at 7PM, so definitely great IMO
