Vilayer is most likely having problems with their hive code, or is going through an upgrade. Something similar occured a few weeks ago that lasted for about 4 days. A server owner who I know has put in a ticket, no response yet. Everyone who tries to connect goes to the slot selection, then gets stuck on the loading screen.

The server I would rent is completely blank. I would have to install everything myself, but I'm capable of doing so....I think ;) Also, that link is OUTSTANDING. Thank you so much that got bookmarked faster than a jackrabbit on a date.

I'm interested in running a VPS server, and yes, I found one beefy enough to handle Day Z in both computing power and bandwidth. I also understand that it has been repeated over and over again that passwording servers is illegal and will result in a blacklisting by the mod team. I have a very specific goal in mind for this server, and I would like to leave @hive disabled by totally removing the folder from the VPS, thereby making the characters on that server non-transferrable to anywhere else. I've heard that if I do that, it's ok to password the server and make it a private, invitational community. Is this true? Am I still risking a blacklist even if I'm not connected to the hive? Also, and more importantly, will anything even spawn? Thank you for your time and your feedback.

I have just installed 1.7.1.4 today, and experienced this bug for the first time. Measures taken: 1. Removed @DayZ folder, reinstalled through SixUpdater. (failed) 2. Removed @DayZ folder, downloaded all .rar files and extracted to a new @DayZ folder. (failed) 3. Uninstalled ARMA II completely, reinstalled ARMA II and all expansions, reinstalled ARMA II latest ARMA II beta patch. (failed) 4. Tried multiple servers of the same version I was running (failed) It seems .4 fixed it for most people but I seem to be the only one it broke. Any help coming? Player ID:1777606 Player: [C4NT]Zero PS: Also, I gave up and respawned, losing all my gear which I've worked for a week to build up. I still have this error. What is going on
