I see what you guys did with this 1.25 update.. Awesome stuff. Sorry for the toxicity in the forum.

You’re not bigger than the game. So what if fixing duping the easiest way would cause you a minor inconvenience? Just like when they added a cooldown timer to account switches on the same server… Did it cause a minor inconvenience for legit players? Yes, but the positives it added greatly outweighed the negative. Same situation here.

You won’t get any developer feedback on duping. They just ignore it and pretend it’s all good. It can easily be fixed also by just preventing 2 consoles from logging into the same account at the same time or within seconds of each other.

This is a bit ignorant… It’s not much to tout player base from a game that allows players to make endless amounts of alt accounts and exploit them… There are legit dupers and exploiters that run on at least 5 accounts, so when you’re counting player population keep in mind that a huge chunk of those “players” are the same people just on different accounts ruining the game for most people who play DayZ the way you intended…. Every official server has players in Duped gear running around spawn towns. These players dupe kits and sell kits on social media. Is that something you’re gonna make an excuse for too? Here’s some feedback that will be ignored just so you can add a few more cosmetic items for the dupers to Dupe… Most dupers use a 2nd console to exploit the items so maybe add a process that can detect accounts logging in from a new console within a time frame of literally just being logged into a different one seconds ago and then give them a cool down timer like you do with alt switches… There are other methods but this is the most abused one.

Probably unpopular opinion: Dynamic gas ruins immersion in the quiet Apocalypse experience

The sounds don’t really bother me BUT I do agree that they really add nothing of value to the game. Plus it puts so much stress on the server to perform these events. I like the permanent toxic zones as an adventure and something to do but the random dynamic ones that just drop randomly are another example of Bohemia doing to much that isn’t worth the trouble that it brings with it. -
Game is becoming unplayable for console.

I don’t know if you play on an official server or a community… however if it is a community server that could be why because a lot of community server admins over do the mods and start tweaking things that kill the optimization of the server. Some communities are ran by admins that prioritize the servers performance over any other cute additions or changes. I say this because I play on official and have had less and less problems each update since I started playing on 1.14 with the exception of 1.19 when it first dropped but that was smoothed out. I get that official servers get a bad rep for hackers and exploiters but with each update Bohemia patches those said exploits almost to the point where there’s not many more left. There are 2 big ones being fixed in 1.21. I’m so excited for the update. -
It’s also very bad on Xbox. Brena in server 8201 is so bad with it. I have a clip saved of myself in a wooden building across from the Sobotka bridge sitting in the room with no windows and the door closed and you can hear the guy on top of the roof (by hopping onto the white object on the side of the building then jumping and pulling yourself onto the roof) crawling around and rolling then bam a gun barrel clips through the roof and they shoot right next to me and miss but then his next shot kills me. Almost makes the game unplayable with how much time it takes to gear up and move around the map to die to exploits like this. 😞
