    This Suggestion Includes: 1. The RPK; the squad automatic weapon variant of the famous Kalashnikov rifle, known for its high range, damage retention, and control, at the cost of higher weight and length, designed to be used with higher-capacity magazines for maximum effectiveness. Taking KA-M magazines, the 7.62x39 variant weighs 4.8kg, sharing its damage stats and fire rate with the KA-M, but sharing its other primary stats with the VSD. (ref: WOBO.tools) 2. The RPK-74, fitted for using 5.45x39 ammunition. Taking KA-74 magazines, it weighs 4.7kg, sharing its damage and fire rate with the KA-74, but also sharing its other primary stats with the VSD. 3. New 40rd KA-M magazines, spawning in tier 4 and higher military loot. 7.62x39 RPK with a drum magazine (Heli Crashes, Military Convoys & Supply Crates) 7.62x39 RPK with a 40rd magazine (Tier 4 Military) 5.45x39 RPK-74 with a 45rd magazine (Tiers 3 & 4 Military) I think the RPK and the RPK-74 should get added because: 1. They fit the setting perfectly, and more-so than certain other weapons. 2. It's the best way to introduce the first LMG-style weapon to the game, since these aren't overpowered like some others are. Thank you for working hard with the game, devs ❤️

    It should also have a negative effect on sway control and recoil stability, given the weight allocation. I disagree with the weapon jamming; we don't need more jamming for any gun in the game - the rates are already unrealistically high, for the most part.

    The outbreak is said to have occurred sometime after March 13th, 2013. While the USP 45 would be a welcome addition, the FNX 45 is not out of place, as it does fit the timeline.

    You haven't presented an actual reason, other than appealing to the game description without addressing the nuances. DayZ has many issues currently, and I know most of the playerbase would say difficulty regarding loot isn't one of them. The devs should focus on other things for now, like stability updates, gunplay and sound updates, etc., to at least make the game run better, and be more aesthetically realistic.

    Then just give them all visible slings when they're on a player's back. It's not super complicated. No reason to make the game harder.

This easter egg should get added into DayZ standalone; amplifying the ingame horror-mystery element would be really cool, and very fitting for a game like DayZ.     Keep 1.26's Footstep & Infected Audio Settings

    The newer 1.27 experimental audio feels less immersive. The sound-to-distance ratio is unnecessarily off-putting to familiarize with, especially for headphone users. I'm not a fan of it. Thank you Bohemia for the other changes, though.

    It would be a bit too much. Cosmetic slings when rifles are equipped to your back would be fine, imo, but I don't think DayZ in its current state needs this level of realistic item mechanics quite yet. I put game stability and new guns above suggestions like this.

    Baikal MP-153 (BK-153)

    The Baikal MP-153 is a 12 gauge gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun manufactured by Kalashnikov Concern (originally by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant) in Russia. It feeds from a 5-round tubular magazine below the barrel. I believe these would be fitting for the settings of Chernarus and Sakhal, and possibly Livonia. Ideally, they would spawn in tier 2 and tier 3 police stations and hunting cabins. It would be great for hunting and self-defense in these regions of the map.

    Tier 3 is as high as I'll concede. This is by no means an overpowered weapon, to spawn in military areas. It's a hunting and a police shotgun.

    Simple suggestion; not much to put in. I wanna see these pattern variants added, specifically to Livonia since we'll be getting more western military loot on Livonia, including the BDU and CUU outfits. Going further, also add the green and black plate carriers to Chernarus, if possible, since we still have Russian uniforms there that don't match well with the TTsKO or tan variants of the plate carrier. Suggestion examples below

    Combat Helmet Variant/Retexture

    The TTsKO camo pattern looks cooler and has more utility in a full uniform, and it would make combat clothing more sought after. So, I want to suggest adding a variant of the SSh-68 combat helmet with this cover on it, or just fully retexture the helmet, to make it fit in better with the rest of its uniform. I'll eventually also make a more fleshed out suggestion for further military clothing variety and matching, but this is probably the simplest one.

    Presenting the POSP 8x42 scope, able to be mounted on Picatinny rails Or, if that isn't long range enough, here's the PSO Picatinny 3-9x24 with variable zoom This is in response to the prospect of long range sniper rifles with Picatinny rails. It doesn't make any sense for the only rail-mounted scopes to be the ACOG scopes.

    I am not on PC. I don't think it should be the modders' responsibility to add a scope which is longer range, and/or variable zoom, for a gun which the devs put in the game, and never gave it the proper scope it's meant to be used with.

They were featured in ArmA 2 • The M3S/V3S Transport Variant These can be found at pretty much any town in Chernarus, and were featured in ArmA 2

    Some Miscellaneous Suggestions

    • Change the color of sparks from campfires to bright orange, instead of bright yellow, because bright yellow isn't the color of woodsparks. (Real suggestion) • Implement a more dynamic voice chat system, with your voice becoming quieter at certain distances, being muffled by heavy rain, or being indoors, because it would improve the feeling of talking to other players. • Make buildings darker on the inside with static lighting, because it would really add to the atmosphere of the game well, as we've seen done with the bunker and with cloud coverage. Though I'm unsure if this is possible, I haven't been informed by anyone that it isn't. • Give guns less distinct, sharper sounds, because it would add to the game's realism and intensity, using the old concept trailers for the game as an example of this. We also saw this done with the SKS. • Visible gun slings, and backpacks altering the position of long objects on your back, because it would look cooler. • Change the model for the ski mask, for when you're wearing a tactical shirt or a hiking jacket, or a field jacket, or other tops which it clips through, so that it appears tucked underneath the collar, because it looks weird otherwise. • Add the blouse to the vanilla game, because it's a very common type of shirt which looks alright and fits in. It's already in the game files and it works fine, so I don't see why not. The same thing was done with the tactical vest, which is also good. • More heavy jackets, specifically parkas, like the Czech M85 parka, or a civilian parka, like this one because they look cool, are extremely common in colder countries - and in a game where cold weather is a threat to your survival, it just feels weird without them. • Make repairing items a continuous action, like bandaging is, so that this aspect of the game feels less unnecessarily slow. • And lastly, add the Green Mountain radio transmission into DayZ standalone, as it was present in the mod for ArmA 2, and would be interesting to listen to ingame.
