Power generator needs way more love + other way of charging electrical devices
OniKem replied to Stalker z Czarnobyla's topic in Suggestions
I think having a new type of 9v thats rechargeable. So you can connect them to a battery charger. then generators can be used for charging anything that need batteries -
I meant more like chicken soup giving you the same immunity boost as a multivitamin, heat boost from spicy food, Maybe blood regen from meaty iron rich dishes.

question? Why would the US military be represented? its not a game based in the US, its not developed in the US by a US company. Its eastern European, your gonna see European military gear, maybe a few US guns would be about from a "the US sold guns to the Chernarussian government" angle. but its the reason we see mainly Russian equipment.

If anyone has Any recipe Ideas using current ingredients put it in here then there will be a list of ideas for devs to call on. Ive already done chicken soup so im gonna put a more silly one. Tuna baked potato baked potato + tinned tuna. Has higher nutritional value then either a potato or tuna combined and is secretly the only cure for kuru.

Thanks, I think for a development perspective this would be easier then reworking the entire inventory structure. you could nerf some of the most high capacity gear so that when upgraded it is back to its full state.

I think it would be a cool mechanic to have ponchos added to the game, They would take up the vest slot but would keep you dry in rain. So the only item that gets wet is the poncho and your hat which can both be wrung out. You could have a craftable poncho made from Tarp + Knife that takes up 4-6 slots when stored in inventory and its the same tan colour as the tarp. But you could also find brightly coloured ponchos in civilian houses and camo ponchos in hunting/military areas. It would be a great help to freshies caught in the rain but still useful for geared players who don't want to have to stop at campfires to dry out. the sacrifice being you need to carry it on you which take up inventory space and you cant wear a vest while using it.

OniKem started following The ability to "Upgrade" clothing
-
So I have been thinking about this for a while, but I think the ability to upgrade clothing could be a cool addition to the game. Nobody wears half of the clothing in game as it has bad insulation and basically no inventory slots. What I propose is the ability to upgrade clothing so for example the T-Shirt has 4x3 (12 Slots) and Bad insulation. I propose that using a sewing kit players can upgrade clothing to increase its slots and insulation level. This would obviously need balancing and you shouldn't be able to upgrade them more then one time so you couldn't take a t-shirt to best insulation and 64 slots. but you could allow to upgrade them 1 level higher. so Bad > Low. For Example. T-Shirt has 4x3 (12 Slots) and Bad insulation Custom T-Shirt (T-Shirt + Sewing kit) has 5x4 (20 Slots) and Low Insulation This would give freshies a way to minimally improve their gear and keep other clothing more relevant through the mid/end tiers. It would also help with role playing so If you wanted to run around in a nurses uniform its less of a sacrifice in regards to inventory space.

Even better not only do they grant better energy then other foods, they could also have other stat boosting benefits, for example. Chicken Soup Cooking pot with water 1 x Chicken Breast 1 x Potatoes 1 x Zucchini Gives 1200 Cal 500 hydration and Boost immunity /cures Cold/Flu You could have spicy food give you a heat buff or help clear cholera, because good for digestion. Have a beef stew increase blood regen as its full of Iron. The last few updates have been quiet PVP/ Raiding focused it would be nice to have more survival options.
