This bug again. It seems the 1.7.2.6 hasn't changed anyhing for me.

It could make sense. I also visited the edges of the map while hunting tents, à lot of times.

It seems that the problem have been acknowledged and that it is the type of bug that can only be fixed with a new patch, or hive reorganization (http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/67383-hotfix-build-1725-rolling-update/page__st__2460#entry798061).

Maybe there will be a response when they come back from the GamesCon. I think we'll have to wait the next patch anyway.

I haven't played since then because I don't want to make the things worse. I wish there is an official word on this bug to establish if they (or don't) know the source of the bug, if our character is broken in the main db, if there is a way to fix it, etc. Even if the bug fix implies my character death, I don't give a fudge., I WANNA PLAY DAMMIT.

Same here (I posted a topic with the exact same problem yesterday but it seems he hasn't been approved). It seems my character is broken somehow (as I always get my gear resetted) and it's more worrying than an one-time bug.

Arma Intallation: Mixed DayZ Version 1.7.2.5 Arma 2 Version : 95883 Launcher: DayZCommander OS: Win 7 64b Bug : I connected. But as soon as I appeared, I saw my character fall with a broken leg, a death message appeared and I got teleported at a great open space with no gear. I already had experienced this, so I disconnected/reconnected. I reappeared at the beach, but all my gear was gone. The weird thing is that I didn't lose my ghillie, nor appear to be truly dead, as my stats didn't get reset. This camp was really well-geared bit did seem legit as there weren't 50 telemeter or cheated weapon. I Just completed my collection of utility items by taking a JVN, telemeter and GPS and choosed a L85A2 AWS to defend myself. Once my little shopping sceance was done, I walked away and disconnected when I was far enough of the camp. The loss of gear isn't important (but if I can take it back, i wouldn't say no ;) ). I just want to know if my character is broken in any way in the hive. The respawn problem wasn't the very first time, only the gear loss is new to me, and I'm a bit affraid. Ok, I found this beautiful gun at a crash Site near Stary. Since I was near one of the most populated inland city, I decided to test it on poor players. Because, you know, the thin line between the good and the evil vanish completely in front of the power of seduction of a good, well-manufactured gun. And I felt like cheating. I won't post screenshot, it would'nt be fair for my poor, raped victims, but I can assure you it was a massacre. I'm not complainning about the gun's accuracy or the fact that its ammunition are very easy to find, it's a class-AAA OTAN assault rifle after all. But the scope with thermal vision... it just ruins everyone effort to get stealth in front of me. You can be well-hidden, behind a tree with just the half of your head visible, I will see you because you're a freaking white lantern in a dark-orange world. And in worst case scenario (like high range) it will takes 3 seconds to differenciate you from a rabbit or a pig. I do not ask to delete the gun, men who loot a high-risk heli crash site need a good reward. Just replaces it with a variant without a thermal scope (but wich keep the night vision). Lifes on this games are too precious to be whipped out so easily by a noob with an omnipotent vision. PS: In case of bad English, I'm sorry, it's not my mother tongue.

I totally agree with this thread. I would add that the challenge of the situation makes the first hour of playing far much better.

I also found The One at a crash site near Stary. I noticed the name was different from the one in the Wiki so I checked here to see if my gun is legit... And now I'm scared.
