Hello guys my name is Roostercake and I host a private server that provides a different type of DayZ experience. We are a laid back PvE server that will go live once or twice a month for fun. We are looking for the right people with the same mindset as us. We are not a pvp server at all, but we do have reasons to be armed. The bear population is "troublesome" but building supplies are plentiful. Wolves own the corners but our cities are strong. Rest from what? Not fixing what people have screamed for, the yhings they promised, or reskinning gun, how about putting aside resources for LORE then fixing the game? That whole video was cringe. Look i play the game, host two servers, and base a youtbe channel around it. But they act like what we have zero clue about what is going on.

Well someone didn't watch game of thrones, or play skyrim. Remember brother you have to give some type of leway to this type of stuff. We are playing a video game. But I do see your point. What would you suggest? Still want to see flags turned into bandanas and headware.

It would be helpful if we could nail torches to trees or fix them to walls in someway. Giving us use of better lighting and adding some atmosphere. Also could we eat worms please. Could havw some type of workbelt as well as police belt. Thanks

I've banned 3 people for this. To be hinest I 100% agree But I believe that the best answer to this is for them to switch the game 100% on Enfusion. That would fix so much right off the back and it would make things EASIER to fix in the future and jsut better overall. Its like we would be getting a DayZ 2, and the only reason the devs give for not doing this is that the modders would ha e to make all new mods because the old ones will no longer work. We all know another is BI treats DayZ as a stepchild and All money goes to boring ass arma. If they were really out to make monwy they would push harder on dayz. But instead of fixes we get stupid lore thst has zero bearing on anything.

The improvised explosives are extreamly glitched. When placed on a car and the car drives away the box stays there floatinf as the car leaves. Sometimes you have to arm it 3 to 4 times. Sometimes the detonators do not work even after you arm them. Thanks guys.

I loved the idea of turning the flags to arm bands but what if we were able to use them as face coverings and head bands? It would be a better way to tell friend from foe and a much needed way to build a clans image. It would be so cool gk have my guy decked out in rooster face and head covering.

We had to shut the server down for the tine being hit me up on psn.

Its to hard to tell friend from foe. Maybe the flag idea will help. Maybe they could let us mark cars and trucks to "brand" them. A group really isn't a group unless they say they are. Tired of taking shots from friendlys because they thought i was a eneime.

Collecting flags is a huge passtime to me. I dont know why. Its like a prize item to me. Kinda like snowglobes in New Vegas. Plus I think they need to focus some more time on clan mechanic.

Its a great idea and im happy to see someone speaking about it. I believe that should be a main focus due to how bad vanilla servers are. I have to do major work everytime i start a new server and its not easy. With how many people complain about it you would think they would fix it.

As someone who host a busy server I'm getting a lot of feed back from new players believing they were kicked or banned from my server due to the server restart message. "You have been kicked, the server is restarting". Many new players have sent me messages on ps network and discord alike believing they were banned due to lack of experience with the game. Please give server owners a way to customize that message or change it to a eaiser understanding. The menus to cars are a true pain due to them always reverting back to open if you walk away from the car. Players spend 99% of their time in the trunk and would be helpful and an easy fix to let the vehicale menus revert back to closed. Its extreamly annoying having to close the engine bay, undercarrage, and others when I just want to swap items in my trunk.another thing thst would help would be the ability to highlight the items you want to transfer and pressing a button to transfer them all at once Please revert the menus to a default closed position or to whatever we set them as. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Yes thats the way it works. The server has to kick people because it turns off for a second and then back on, Restart. But due to the high volume of people siting confusion I would change it to something like. "The server is restarting and will return momentarily. I've never had a problem understanding it but it seems the class of whatever year skipped context clues in english class.

This is why im pushing for a part 2 on Enfusion minus everything dean hall thought process. I always said it would be badass to lose limbs and get black eyes. Like if you get punched in the face you have a chance of half of your screen going dark. But the engine he decided to use is simply flawed and outdated.
