So, today I received my brand new Alienware X17 top spec laptop, 64GB Ram . . . .blah blah blah, Thing can play anything. Been really excited for this to arrive so I could finally have a machine to not only play Dayz, but play it at maximum settings with zero issues . . . or so I thought. This "Warning (0x000400F0)" is utterly ridiculous for the £45 price tag of the game. So far I have done these things in order to try and resolve it: 1. - Download DZSALauncher - Using DZSALauncher: - In DZSALauncher, In Settings, Select 'Run as Admin' If you don't want to use DZSALauncher: - Go to your game files: (Select game in Steam, 'Manage', 'Browse Local Files') - Set local Admin to each exe in game dir: -- DayzZ_BE.exe -- DayzZ_x64.exe -- DayZDiag_x64.exe -- DazZLauncher.exe -- DazZUninstaller.exe 2, - Removed and repaired corrupt windows files using "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and afterwards "SFC /scannow" in cmd. 3, - Cleaned up my registry with CCleaner. 4, - Updated my GeForce and integrated graphics drivers 5, - Tested internet speed / Router / interuptions - All good. 6, - Delete the game files from Documents every time before a new load up 7, - Full Uninstall and Reinstall and redid all of the above. If I had known this issue was here, I would of saved myself £45 and bought Arma3 with the Dayz mods. I have managed to play PUBG, CoD Warzone and Fortnight so far with no issues with PC or Connection, Such a shame as this is such a beautiful game, and I was so excited to get into it Anyone have any other ideas or Any Admin / Staff fancy fixing this issue, so the playerbase does not have to become Programmers to play a simple game

I have had enough of this shoddy product and shoddy game and complete lack of customer service from Bohemia Interactive. I shall be beginning the process of taking Bohemia Interactive to the British courts of Law under the 'Consumer Rights act 2015' This product / service falls directly under two major categories of the Consumer Rights Act : Faulty Goods (The game does not run properly) and Poor Service (no Assistance given with troubleshooting, countless pages of people online with same issues) I shall be collecting as much evidence from the separate sources Forums, Reddit etc. However if anyone else has had similar issues to me and are not happy with the outcome of "just shut up and buy another game" Please contact me on this post and we can press the matter further, Hopefully either forcing Bohemia to care for its customers or give us a Refund on the faulty product. I shall be submitting papers to the courts on Monday the 16th May, So please step forward if you too are also unhappy with the lack of Customer service and the selling of a broken product.

Do Bohemia Staff actualy look at these Forums or is this just a void for us to post our problems to be forgotten and we expected to just Pay for a product we cant use and wait for the next Money dump with no product. I have restarted my PC twice, installed and uninstalled the Day z game 3 times and its not fixed !!!!!!!! This is ridiculous. I load day z up in steam and in DAYZSA (try both options out) I pick a server and load in (Setup DLC's and Mods and Join) its official so no mods or DLC's needed. Click and go . . . Nothing happens. Go to load into the same server again, same options however this time when I click Setup DLC's and Mods and Join it pops a message up saying "The already running game needs to be restarted in order to load required mods only and unload the rest" WTF is this Bohemia, Why is your game so fecking hard to play, Not to mention once you do fix all these problems and manage to load in to an official server, More than likely to last less than 5 mins, as a Hacker will shoot you from across the map and end your journey

Well, I have an Alienware x17 Top specs, and I keep running into sooo many fucking issues with this game, having to rescyn files, re-validate every time I switch server . . . . and the Developers simply do not give a shi, Id save the £45 and either wait for The Day Before to come out in June or go play Rust or something else with a less toxic mentality to gaming

@OP, base building is basically an irrelevant feature of this game as someone can blast your door open in under 18 seconds (it takes longer to build it) In my opinion that is totally scuffed, the fact that the materials to build a gate take like 3 - 6 hours to farm up, yet some twat can come along, do some Hacking to get the ammo he needs, then blast the door open in under 18 seconds. What a brilliant game mechanic

The developers and game designers doing nothing about the hackers is ruining the game mate. Bohemia, after taking your £45 for the game, Oh there may be hackers in this game so you need to download Battleeye, which conflicts with so many things on PC's but you will still need it even thought it does not prevent hackers

Big tip, DO NOT PLAY LONGER THAN 2 HOURS, so you can get the Steam Refund

Hackers also paid their dues of £45 for the game, so why is it fair to Ban them but not you ? Bohemia doesnt give a shit mate, just pay your fees and shut up

Realism is not a thing in this game mate. Since when is it Pitch fucking black outside at nighttime, I live in the countryside and even with the moon behind clouds its bright enough to see 20 foot Infront of you at least, In Day Z its like you are shoved into a cardboard box with the Visibility

Bohemia simply do not give a fudge, about the hackers, about the many many bugs in the game, about the many many threads of people struggling to even load the game, I mean come on, BARE FUCKING MINIMUM, the game downloads and loads before issues begin occurring, nah not with DAYZ Fam, You have to spend around 4 hours trying to fix the game into a state you can log on and play it, (By that time the 2 hours of steam refund time has elapsed so no refund from Steam) I know, lets ask Bohemia for a refund . . . oh wait, You need staff who care for the community and look at posts for that to happen. . . . . SO basically its just a sinkhole for £45

Sooooo, basically Do not rely on Official servers, Imagine the OFFICIAL servers being unable to detect and remove hackers over Community servers, shows how much Bohemia simply do not give a F as soon as they have our £45. Utter shambles of a company, Russians cant handle a war, but they can Run Tarkov no probs. . . Just a lack of care for the product and customer, that is all

Nah, the games a pile of dog shit mate, soooo many issues trying to even load into this game on PC (not sure if same issues translate over to Consoles) that tied in with the toxicity of players would put those people trying the game off, therefore losing Bohemia potential money on those people that might of spent £45 to try it out then come to terms with these issues

Battleeye is a fucking pain mate. Bohemia, similar to Blizzard etc, are on the business model of "Pay your Sub / Game cost" and STFU Seems to work well for these games, look how much money New World made before it flopped 4 - 6 weeks after release

Go to join a server, battle eye loads, then nothing happens . .. wait a few minutes, still nothing so try to rejoin the same server, Pop up telling me "The already running game needs to be restarted in order to load required mods only and unload the rest." You really have to hand it to the utter morons of this world like this guy here. choppinbroccoli should spend more time out being a Woodland Warrior, because if his solution to a problem is "Download this program . . . Simple" without fully understanding the issues at hand. Internet is full of idiots like this. However, I have had similar issues in the past, and after resetting my PC to factory am having to go over all the same issues with some new ones thrown in for good measure. Here is a breakdown of things I did to try and resolve it, Another word of Advice is Battleeye for DAYZ DOES NOT LIKE VPN's so you must disable your VPN also. Worst gaming company in the world mate, you will not get a response from them, hopefully someone has been through your stress and knows a way out, iv had Countless issues with this game, and more new issues keep turning up every few days

It was battle-eye conflicting with my VPN, So basically in order to play this game (when it loads without any problems) You have to have ZERO internet security for your machine for software that does not even fucking stop the cheaters anyway, SO basically a duff product, that fucks over the non-cheaters and does not really affect cheaters at all. Fucking well played Bohemia, no Wonder the games isnt massive and you only have 4 first person servers Absolute joke of a company

I want my money back, Steam will not give me a refund because I have gone over the two hour limit. Bear in mind those 2 hours were trying to fix the game to make it playable. Zero communication from Bohemia, Absolute diabolical customer service and state of a game that's been out for nearly 10 years I shall be making posts every day until i get some communication or a full refund for said product. If Bohemia do not want to adhere, I shall take legal action on a faulty product as is in Consumer Rights

Bohemia Interactive, This is fucking ridiculous. Refund me my money for this fucking POS that is unplayable, I play other games that use Battleeye and no issues, All the issues are with DAYZ
