Ponzo (DayZ)

Got a Server from Zap-Hosting, dont know if its their fault or the fault of the Hive, but Tents and Vehicles wont save on my Server. I asked the Zap-Hosting Support if its possible to downgrade to another Version so it gets fixed (many people in this forums said so), but they just said "nope". Now im paying for a Server we cant play on, because every progress we make wont get saved. Yay!

Greetings, our Clanserver is, as the title says, bugged. We tested if the Carspawns work, after we fixed a Bus and saved him after driving 30 minutes, i restarted the server and the bus was back at his normal spawn position in cherno. Same happened with a few ATV's, a Military Truck and a Ural. Also, all Items we save in Tents and Cars get whiped after a Server restart to. is this a common problem / problem with the hive or is it the problem of our server hoster?

Hello. we set up a new camp location with tents, put all our stuff in it and the next serverrestart it was gone, also everything what was left in the old tents. Yes, we saved the new tents after we were done. And then we tried to put new stuff in it, it disappeared aswell. Any suggestions?

we put stuff back in today and yesterday and it disappeared, but our ural is fine with stuff in it (so it was no looter), stuff in tents just dont get saved atm i think

Push. Did the tents get resetted or is it a bug?

The main problem is the Game itself, to be honest, i would not call myself a bandit, but i often catch myself sniping people in cherno, just out of pure boredom, so i might die and can start again. because after you got the best gear possible (its not hard), all you can do is pretty much kill people, or you run around bored, since the zombies are no real threat in the game. make zombies and surviving harder :(

Battle Eye seems ot be even worse then Punkbuster, this is the third time our Camp got looted by Hackers. If you cant get rid of Hackers, dont go nazi-Mode and blacklist people who put a password on their server. They rent the server, they pay for it, why go nazi-mode if they chose to lock the server to play with friends? I would love to rent a server, to play with Friends or people from my stream, but i wont let my server get griefed. If we have to be connected to the Hive, give us atleast freaking protection. If you cant, dont make rules! I was looking forward to DayZ on Arma 3, but to be honest, id rather let a porcupine lick on my balls, thats funnier then getting griefed by hackers. P.S: Take a look at All Points Bulletin, learn from the mistakes they make with Hackers.

thats why im not gonna try DayZ on Arma 3, i respect its an alpha, and pretty good for an alpha, but to be honest, battleeye isnt the most experienced and capable fish in the pond. by the way...nice banner and avatar, deus ex hr is my fav. game 2011 ;)

i did not say i can do better, all i say is, there are alternatives to battle eye, if this game is the "flagship" for DayZ on Arma 3, the Hackerproblem and tight "Serverrules" might turn people away. to be honest, i would not care about the tight serverrules if the hive would give the servers some more protection. and server admins are not that useful either, if they ban the wrong one their server can end up blacklisted to. thats not really attractive in terms of "i wanna get my own server!!" i just pay for dayz to have one more server, and put a few letters into the server name, but i would not call it my own server since i cant do shit with it. @Alex, read my last post about finding a new hobby before you run out of standard phrases like "lolol crybaby, lolol call of duty kid"

and maybe you should look for a more productive hobby then ruining other peoples threads. How about clay pottery? if you close your eyes while creating your first pot of clay, you can almost pretend like your demi moore in ghost, and feel loved for the first time.

trust me, i play games long enough to know if something smells fishy. defending dayZ by saying it must be no hacker wont save the game from those. @Alex, if you would read my first post, the main problem i have is with the server blacklisting. if the hive cant protect me from hackers, why would i let my server open for anyone to join? i rather put a password on it, but then i get blacklisted. GG imagine notch blacklisting every minecraft server who puts a password or plugins on it, everything notch does not want.

Yes, because we moved it yesterday night, only 3 people on the Server, my two friends and me, nighttime with Nightvision, so no way they could have followed us. And we camped in the middle of nowhere, without a marker, so it must be a big coincidence. The last times they had a helicopter and were flying above us. so, dont think it was legit. I rather wait for War Z and look if its any good, if they dont make it f2p it might be worth the try

When you attacked our camp, you spawned in a helicopter, landed behind our camp and attacked it, but Matt is such a faillord that i easily killed him so we were able to rescue our Vehicles and Camp. Oh, and just for the record, in the first statement walker said he does not know Matt, he just met him and joined him on his ATV, now he states knows him, he even brought him to this Topic. You guys just try to lie your way out, but people are not stupid. I Hope you little childish griefing hackers get banned. Even if Matt was the only one who hacked, you aided him. Why? Look at the Screenshot you posted, then look at your gun, and your Zombie kills. Thanks for bringing your own evidence.
