Hi all,
Came here because I'm pretty tired of Nitrado's awful hosting. Seems like they're offering the bare minimum and I'm over it.
I run a private server for myself and my family and it's just been ridiculously bad. It's only four of us that ever play. For the sake of trying to get the server to run more smoothly, our server loot spawns have been reduced, animal and zombie limits have been reduced.... Even with these reduced settings the Nitrado server shows CPU spikes every few minutes. One of our biggest problems is constantly crashing cars/trucks full of loot out in the middle of nowhere due to these CPU lockups causing huge lag spikes.
So, in short, looking for other options for hosting a PS4 DayZ server.
I was looking into whether or not I could host my own server from home, but from the little amount of research I've done on the subject it seems like what I want isn't an option for console players but I'm hoping I'm wrong.
If anyone knows for sure, I'd love to hear some suggestions. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To Bohemia Interactive: It would be really, really nice if you could give us console players some graphics customization options to play with.. Adding the disabling of VSYNC was pretty nice but more options would be better. Draw distance, shaders, shadows, textures, etc. Would also love to see some options for adjusting controller settings like analog stick deadzones, look acceleration, button layout customization, disable controller shortcuts (double dpad down for voice activity), etc. Hope one of you sees this and considers the possibility or passes it on to someone who might care.

EDIT2: Added another image which shows my restart timers so they can be compared to the times logged on the graph. I know during restarts CPU usage jumps up for a short period. I added the other image to make it clear that these spikes do not coincide with my server restarts.
