...Who thought some months ago it would be possible that Russia would attack Ukraine? 🤨 ...Like...everyone. Literally everybody saw this shit coming lmao. Putin has wanted to take back the Soviet Union for decades. He was literally planning to invade Ukraine just last year, but CHINA asked him very politely to not to, because they were having some fancy shmancy Olympic games which the Chinese "leader" didn't want interrupted or tainted by the faltering steps of World War III. Putin reluctantly agreed to hold off on his killing spree until the Chinese leader deemed it appropriate. That time came a few weeks ago apparently. 🙄 But...yeah...#NOTSurprised; nor should anyone be who has happened to have picked up a World History book in the past 31+ years lol. 🤭

What the OP is suggesting is that we punish the Russian people for being taken over by a violent despotic dictator with an SSR fetish. Putin doesn't give a blue fuck about sanctions; he straight up told our incompetent President that. He kills his own men for fuck's sake; you really think he's "feeling the pressure" because of our almighty paper sanctions from a Commander in Chief whom no world leaders respect or can take seriously anymore? 🤭 PS: DayZ is probably one of the few places Russians might be able to get unfiltered information from the outside world lol. Banning them could actually HURT the Ukrainian people, seeing as Putin has a conscripted military; a lot of his soldiers have no idea why they're fighting, and never signed up to kill innocent civilians, and are SURRENDERING themselves to the Ukrainians. The less Russians are kept in the dark, the higher the chances of Ukraine's success. Putin is going to end up getting taken down by his own people. NOT Banning Russian DayZ servers will merely accelerate that process. 😅

I'm sure most of us have done it before. You get a bad spawn, and there's nothing nearby to climb that's high enough to kill you. So you throw yourself into a horde of zombies human-sacrifice style. ...At least, that's what we USED to be able to do before they made it so that zombies just...LOSE INTEREST in your body as soon as you get knocked out. Now I just break my legs and swim out into the ocean a little until I pass out and drown to death. Takes about the same amount of time as it did to build up an adequate zombie horde to kill myself nice and quick lol. Anyway...it's just plain silly for zombies to lose interest in you when you go unconscious; I liked hearing them swarm, and would imagine them tearing me limb from limb in the final moments of darkness before the red screen of death lol. They should bring back that charming little feature lol. 🤭

Ahhh, that would be handy. They should just give everyone a wallet with an ID card in it that you can loot off their corpse like in real life lol. 😅 Maybe even make it like an actual item survivors can throw away if they want, protecting their identity lol. 🤭

Riiight??? I dunno if the devs intended for that or if it was just a happy accident lol. I've been kicking myself thinking that I could have been doing things faster this whole time and neeeever knew it until the controls got fucked up and forced us to improvise lol. 😅

Same issue here. I've been re-learning how to use the new inventory controls. If I'm recalling correctly, I try to switch between my Hands, my Inventory, and the Vicinity using the the L1 and R1 trigger buttons, and I use the L2 and R2 trigger buttons to scroll down through the sub-menus, sometiems using the Up Directional Button to go back if I overshoot, and then I use the Right Analog Stick to search through the various inventory slots. I try to completely avoid using the D-Pad and the Left Analog Stick altogether; this prevents me from moving my character by accident, or accidentally turning on my mic. It's a HUGE pain in the ass, but it's gradually getting easier for me, and I think I might even be able to navigate my inventory FASTER now using the Left Analog Stick than I ever did with the D-Pad...but still...I'd like to have that option again, because muscle memory is a bitch lol. 🤭

This would be an amazing feature to have. For example, if one of my teammates goes down in battle, I should be able to have another teammate cover me from sniper fire while I run out to carry the fallen teammate back to safety, being significantly slowed down as a result, increasing the suspense and risk of going back for a fallen comrade lol. Another cool thing you could do with this is hiding bodies of zombies and other survivors you've killed so that you aren't leaving a trail a blood and carnage others can track you with lol. 😅

I built a super cute base; it was just a watchtower with two walls and a gate. It's like a "baby's-first-base" design lol. Woulda looked even cooler with gun racks and lockers. I need a PC lol. 😅

Omg, I was literally going to make a post asking about this same thing. I think the new update must've updated how far away you have to be to build the shelter; seems to me we were able to stand closer to it before...but maybe we were, and our characters would glitch through the shelter or something. That'd be a lot harder for me to tell because I only play on 1PP servers. Anyhoo, thanks for confirming that there's nothing wrong with the game! This really messed me up when trying to build a shelter on a rooftop once; I was trying to build it by the edge, standing behind it on the very edge of the building because I'm OCD about lining it up right lol. 😅

Is it possible to customize a server so that a day lasts 24 hours and NOTHING despawns? ...Or is there like some kinda necessary reason for things to magically disappear in this game lol? 😅 ...Only way you should be able to "despawn" something is in a FIREPLACE lmao. 🤣
