Because a large number of the admins are participating in it. DayZ has more bad admins that I've seen in Battlefield 1942, 2, Vietnam and 2142 combined and it's only a few months old.

Thats retarded My ping to Dallas from Vancouver,BC on the west coast never goes over 50 and thats over Wi-fi also. to Seattle and New York servers I hover around 15-25ms. Oh and the top hackers in videos games are Russians and Germans. Check any game that keeps stats and check the flags.... IE Battlefield.... -

If an admin spots you using a hacked weapon he is well within his rights to ban your sorry ass especially if you know where the weapon came from. -

Yes, but until DayZ showed up other then a couple months of problems on a FEW Domination servers nobody was putting them to actual use and the few that did were server or global banned. Many server admins in Arma 2 share their ban lists with each other. Hacking was not a big issue before DayZ, With DayZ the admins themselves are involved in it. Fact of the matter is DayZ is attracting a younger, very immature crowd. -

No there wasn't There was a very brief episode of hacking Domination servers for a couple months but thats pretty much it. it was only a handful of servers out of hundreds at the time. -

True, but these people who blamed FRAPS for getting them banned claimed they were running FRAPS at the time of the ban. Like I said.... Not one single person could produce a video showing them being banned while recording. If you were recording with FRAPS at the time of the ban then you'd have the video proof of that. but they don't.....because IT'S A BULL#$% LIE. People who get caught hacking like to blame third party software for their ban.. When Skype first came out, hackers tried to blame that...... Same with Firefox........even explorer 8... -

Re-read my post. It's a bullshit rumour created by the hackers themselves in a futile attempt to get their bans overturned. I'm sure if you did a search you'd find dozens of the same people claiming "Battleye banned me for hacking when I run FRAPS" Whats funny about that lame excuse is NONE of these people could produce a single video of them being banned despite the fact that they claim they were using FRAPS at the time of the ban. Battleye bans you when it catches you running scripts that spawn in weapons, it does not watch for someone picking up that weapon.
