You know how in real life you can kinda see in the dark after being in it for a while? That should be in dayz, and I’m not talking about full night vision, just not pitch black on those nights. Then maybe to make this a little more viable the actual night vision would have green glints that are visible for other players. I’m not sure if the night vision goggles in the game have glint in real life, but since when has dayz focused on realism? In my head the process starts when it is really dark and gets gradually easier to see and caps at 25ish minutes. Like a pitch black to dark grey transition, and any exposure to light would reset that timeline as it would in reality. Again, no ridiculous cat vision, just a slightly less pitch black… or I could just be an idiot and just not have noticed if this feature was already in the game or not…

Ohhhh you did thaaaaat. I was thinking more like feeding starving guys poison
-
Did they just eat the berries? No questions asked??
-
Yeah, 6 sounds more right, and the pvp servers reset like every hour.
-
Game has a pretty solid player base, but we really don’t need anymore guns lol
-
Not sure either, probably like every 8-12 hours
-
I get what you’re saying though

The same thing happens to me, but exclusively with the blood splatters in buildings Clip? not sure if this works.
-
Yeah, but if they were like sorting inventory, filling a gas tank, drinking from a fountain, basically anytime they’re standing still.

Okay, I can’t remember, but did it have you read terms and service before you played? Because if so they probably clarified that they aren’t guaranteeing that the product works. They do the same thing with ea terms and service. -
I mean, if It is ever added, how effective would it be? You can’t reload, or even aim properly.

I think spawns are randomized, and the number of players nearby doesn’t effect where you spawn. Because I’ve spawned in literally right next to a geared dude, like 6 feet away.

I honestly struggle to get that close to them, and when I do, I end up slashing their back. And I think it’d be cool if you could do this on people as a reward for their ignorance/your stealth.

Did they add customizable controls finally?
-
Likely illegitimately as it’s on official. I’d like to meet the people who made it if they built the base honestly.

Dayz's Flawed Foundations: Movement and Gunplay

The game doesn’t have crossplay even, so it makes no sense to do this lol. -
Add Consumables like coffe or energydrinks which give you energy.

Maybe if you were to use it constantly, the character could get the kuru twitches for a temporary amount of time. Like 5 uses in 30 minutes or something Like that to trigger. -
Yeah but then it’s worse ui, and few mnk servers

Yep, I’d love to set my guy up with a handlebar mustache. Maybe get like a handheld Mirror and combine with a knife for a shaving kit you can use to customize hairstyles

suggestion to get 'writing on paper' back
Tristan Cooper replied to Luobo_Clovis's topic in Suggestions
This would fit really well in dayz, and what if every character gets different handwriting randomly, and it changes depending on health/injuries so you can see if someone was injured when they write it -
Yeah, the dayz people are really good at wasting material and littering.

I really doubt the military would leave behind a functional tank, and even then you would need a three man crew to work it. A helicopter has the same problem. It just wouldn’t be left behind. I do like the pen and the tag though.

If they tone down the zombie awareness then yeah, For sure, but right now going to a city would guarantee a chase and likely death.

Couldn’t have said it better. Having a respawn point would make the stakes of a gunfight significantly less than they are now. This sounds good, but maybe not staying in game when offline. What would happen when the server resets? I’m thinking something like sea of thieves; slow, but faster regeneration and a near stop to food and water usage. Emphasis on near.
