  1. I believe this is intentional, they already changed this 2-3 patches ago. One bug that I found is that the green variant of the new OKZK cap is displayed as the beige version. It looks green when on the ground, in my hands, or in my inventory. But when I actually wear it it's beige.
  2. Honestly if you want to game on Windows use a recent version. Win 7 will drop support for more and more games in the future, and also get issues with security. If you don't like Windows 10/11 use Linux, DayZ runs perfectly fine there as well :) Linux Mint has a similar UI to Win 7 and is great for switching.
  3. I want to give some feedback regarding the melee changes. I like that it was changed up, with more differentiation between the weapons and more diversification with shock/health damage. However, there are some things that put me off. For example, 'good' knives like the hunting knife will stagger infected with a heavy attack, while the kitchen knife doesn't. That's still kind of okay, but e.g. the hatchet does not stagger as well (while a good knife does). That seemed very counter intuitive to me. Also I think it's perfectly fine that no melee weapons one-shot infected anymore (making them stronger), but now I feel like there is no benefit in carrying a splitting axe over a good knife. Really enjoying the new backpacks and bug fixes though!
  4. Is the amount of time that certain clothes take to dry next to a fire intentional? E.g. Ghillie parts take very long to dry. Could be intentional of course, just wanted to make sure. Really enjoying the patch so far.

  6. A big thanks to the devs and the whole DayZ team for the continued development! Bugs that I have found so far: -The Crossbow is not repairable with the weapon cleaning kit. Is this intentional? -Also I cooked some chicken and it does not cool down in my inventory (green drybag).
  7. The improvised suppressor isn't visible through the scope of any other sniper rifle. Mosin has a very similar scope e.g., you don't see any of it. You only see it when using the Longhorn, where it makes sense since the barrel is so short.
  8. First, I want to thank the devs and everyone involved for the continued support of DayZ. One can feel that this update was a lot of work and we appreciate it. I really enjoy the new player movement with more inertia. I personally think it fits better to survival games. Regarding bugs I found so far: The player seems to get stuck indoors a lot (I think this is the same bug mentioned a few posts above me with regards to the stairs in police stations, but it's not only police stations). I usually jump to get unstuck, this works almost always, but it's very annoying. Also I found that from time to time I couldn't switch to my melee/raise melee (if already selected), when a zombie is running towards me. This is also very annoying and got me a few cuts. I couldn't find a trigger for this yet, it happened ~5 times during several hours of playing today to me. Last, I want to suggest to reduce the area that gets obstructed by the improvised suppressor in the SSG 82 optics (or make it not visible at all in the scope). It doesn't make sense that it obstructs that much (like it does for the longhorn, whose barrel is very short). The SSG 82 already has enough drawbacks to make it balanced in my opinion. Again, thank you guys :)
  9. First I want to thank the developers for the continued support of my favourite game, I think DayZ is in the best state ever and I hope to see some more updates in 2022 :) Good job! I personally think the AUR A1 should definitely not be heli-crash only, but at least T4 or even T3. It is much worse than the AX and a little worse than other mid-game guns like the M16 or KA-74. The M16 can fit the M4 suppressor, which can be found outside the gas zones, and the 1.12x scope of the A1 is not really better than ironsights. The only advantage of the A1 vs. M16 is full-auto, if you compare it to the KA-74 it gets worse... A huge point here as well is that the A1 can only fit the AUR mags, which are T4. By the time you have found an A1 at a heli-crash and the mag at T4 you will have found several better weapons like KA's. Hence I would personally: -Make the A1 a T4 weapon, possibly T3 -Tier the mags accordingly and/or make the A1 compatible with STANAG/Mag-C (maybe only one of them?) -Make the scope 1.5x (like IRL) -Let it be incompatible with the M4 suppressor as is, hence incentivising taking the M16
