No matter what i do, the game wont launch no more.
2 days ago I tried to access a new modded server on Livonia, downloaded the Mods attached to the server, but decided that i would rather wait for a spot on my regular server, so i tried launching DayZ and the game goes into "not responding".
it being late, i didnt think of it and thought it was the higher powers telling me to stop playing and go to bed.
Next evening, same issue.
I uninstalled ALL mods and tried launcing DayZ Vanilla from the steam Client. The DayzLauncher (from steam) starts fine, Game goes in "Not Responding" and eats ALL ram available.
I then uninstalll the game and the DZSA launcher aswell --> Reinstall Dayz through steam. Same issue.
I then Uninstall via a Uninstallertool and remove all files and hives in Regedit aswell, reinstall today --> Same issue.
I then Reinstall Windows (but keep my profile). Install steam --> Install dayz thinking now the issue MUST be solved. Same issue.
I then Create a new Windows Profile, thinking if its not windows then it MUST be the profile --> Same issue on that profile aswell.
Drivers are updated.
Windows are updated
Compability mode have been tried, same as "Run as administrator" and "Scaling options" within the application have also been tried.
Now, i am at a loss. i have no clue what to do or how to fix this.
Anyone have any kind of idea?
