    late game shotgun

    the saiga is supposed to be a late game shotgun but no one uses it because of it's woefull damage and the fact it is full auto when the game makes the 12ga shells scarce, the bk-43 is still a viable shotgun but its lack of mid to long range accuracy/punch makes most players discard it as soon as they find a sks or better. the other option would be adding another shotgun for late game with the power of a bk-43 but better range and accuracy to which i give you the "M30 Luftwaffe Drilling" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M30_Luftwaffe_Drilling it is a SBS double barrel 12ga like the bk-43 but has a underbarrel 9.3X74 rifle (which could easily be swapped for a .308) and is capable of mounting a scope in later variants. this could be fairly easily modeled by combining the bk-43 and the bk-18 and rechambering for the .308 and adding a scope mount which could accept the red dot/ acog/ hunting scopes (which would make slugs and rubber slugs viable even in late game), as for swapping ammo types it could be as simple as it fires what is manually loaded until it is loaded with a different ammo type (to fire as a rifle you load a .308 and to fire as a shotgun again you load a 12ga shell) Pro's: adds a long range rifle to a powerful shotgun and increases it's accuracy and allows the attachment of multiple scope types Con's: heavier with only a single shot rifle before reload and cannot be sawn off (weight could be the bk-43 + 1/3 of the bk-18 before adding a scope) unable to suppress/moderate as for copyright HCOTW already has the grelic and if the name is a issue you could just call it the "Driller" which is similar enough but should not cause any issues.

    wolves/bears used to attack Z's they probably removed this function to reduce load (wish they would re introduce it though) probably similar with animal attacks.

    3 Kp/h shunt destroys Ada

    i was driving back to my camp with a pristine ada when the car started acting up (bunnyhopping/skidding uncontrollably even when driving straight) i managed to come to a stop "allmost" but tapped a bale of hay at 3 Kp/h. when i got out to inspect my car it had destroyed both front wheels/ the hood /radiator / one of the lights and badly warped the frame (badly damaged). are Ada's made of tinfoil or is there a serious issue with collision damage on top of the driving mechanics that make it uncontrolable over 30 Kp/h?
  4. in rl these weapons are fully capable pf piercing all known body armors (with the possible exception of dragonscale but no one can afford it) and all the ammo it fires s AP there is no standard ammo. in dayz the vss/val started off with the lowest bullet velocity in the game which for a sniper rifle/dmr is one hell of a handicap to start with its only saving grace was AP ammo and the ability to go full auto. in every patch you have nerfed the hell out of this weapon making it less and less viable and in the latest patch you have utterly destroyed it, it now does less damage than a smg and it's one and only saving grace (the ability to ignore plate carriers/gorka helms) has all but been removed on top of the fact it still has the lowest bullet velocity of any weapon. i know you hate the fact that there was something that could defeat your god tier'd plate carrier armor but to destroy what is a exceptional rl wep this badly feels just petty (it dosent even get the shock damage afforded to all other weps ffs it does less than the scorpion).

    ammo box

    have you ever considered making a ammo box mod where it has a hp bar instead of a count and could reload any caliber but depending on the caliber depends on how much the hp bar depletes like the sharpening stone. small caliber ammo would get much more out of it than large caliber and if the hp bar gets to low for a specific caliber you could still use it to reload a smaller round, for example one box could reload 150 .22 rounds but only 50 .308/762x54 (or 10 .50 bmg if you have modded weapons).

    eu vs us servers

    is there any way at all to fix the discrepency between eu and us servers or at least alleviate it. every time i play with my canadian or us friends my cars (and even trucks) and up turning into submarines or jet fighters, even just getting into a car turns it into a rabbit hopping all over the place even whilst stationary and the engine off even though my can/us friends have no such issues.

    the mod communiy has had lmg's for quite a while now is it possible to add a few to the vanilla game? there is one in particular that would be easy to implement and that would be the RPK it would only need a modification to the AK-M model (extended barrel and bipod) and it could use the AK's mods except possibly a compensator instead or as well as a suppressor. the other two would need more work and they woud be the PKP and the 249SAW both use standard faction specific ammo types but both require belt fed mags bit as i said the mod community has had this option for so long you may be able to beg borrow buy the model.

    the other alternative would be to have static on a handheld radio when you get close (or field radio for extra range) it would be a good way to get additional use out of them since a lot of people just use programs like discorde/teamspeak or console chat to talk.

    harvesting building mats

    is there any way to inclued additional harvesting piles for building mats? the lumber pile is realy usefull for quick access to planks but would it be possible to include harvesting log piles with say a axe for logs and possibly some way of harvesting sheeting/wire with say pliers from construction zones? i am only asking this since on community servers mods seem to mess up the spawn allocation for the metal mats and after the first day people have horded so much none will spawn (or they just want to force people to buy it from a trader). (platform xbox)

    Fish traps

    in DayZ wiki there are several crafting recipy's that are unavaialbe to console which can be a little annoying but hopefully they will be added at a later date, what i am anxious to know is if removed content like the fish trap's will be reintroduced and if it does will it be usable in both salt and fresh water or just salt as in when they where first included in the game.

    are the fish trap's going to be reintroduced in upcoming patches? and if so will they be able to be used in both fresh and salt water or just salt?
