Non character transferable Official Servers
Andrei Amarfii replied to Andrei Amarfii's topic in General Discussion
Well people that got used to such playstyle may be unhappy with the change. So I would be happy with an addition rather than a change. Why not take add 1 server to every region and make the loot/characters not shared. Leave existing servers as is. -
Hi, any plans to have servers that do not allow characters from other servers ? In my opinion it does not look fair if you can get geared on low population server and then join high population server. Similarly if you raid a base on high population server and then pump all the loot towards another server it reduces the chance towards 0 that the owners will be able to get their loot back. I would love to play on official vanilla, but this "feature" kills any enthusiasm to do so.

Experimental Update 1.12 (Changelog)
Andrei Amarfii replied to Kyiara's topic in PC Experimental Updates
I'm not going into subjective preferences of better/enjoyable, because that is personal to everyone. Someone enjoys instant kills, someone enjoys restraining his enemies a force feed them human steak. That's personal choice and while I prefer first, I don't care if others play this game in other way. I explained objectively that the chance of everything going right in landmine is miserably low and if it succeeds someone should die IMO. How many mines did you actually planted on vanilla ? and how many of them did actually kill anyone except you ? I bet that is a very low number, most likely 0. -

Given that you every time mention thoughtfulness I really hoped you will think by yourself, but if that does not work here is why : Land mine is very rare item Land mine has limited (only 2 hours or so) active time Landmine is only a point (it is not triggered by a rope or so you can mine big entrances or similar) - it's just a point (in more than 200 squared kilometers) Person who plant it should be smart enough to predict the place where a victim would go FInding a place that both camuflages it and has enough foot traffic is difficult, otherwise it never triggers or is compromised before triggering Person who steps in should be stupid enough to not check/be careful about risky zones For me that's a lot of conditions Therefore if someone found it, he managed to plant it and within the active time someone stepped in, yes, that should be a death. -

Common sense does not require reasoning. Looks like if someone has a different opinion than yours it means it is shit 😄 Dude, this is a forum and everyone provides his feedback on the changes, it may or most likely will not be the same as yours(because of the common sense). The feedback is for developers and not for the dreamers of great low chance interactions that will get buckshot in the face once they did not die immediately on landmine 😄 -

Of course it's balancing, that's why you are going to die to 1 tap from BK-18 or similar, which can be found on the coast. But not on ultra rare land mine, LUL -

This may be optional extra bonus in kcal instead of a must. ------------------ What would be the difference between landmine and beartrap ? It does not make sense landmine not to instant kill. I would say it should instant kill everyone in close range. (who stepped in) It should break leg and knock out in medium range. Making a landmine less dangerous then a grenade is non sense. -
Andrei Amarfii started following Animals [Wild / Domestic]
-
Sounds. Below animals are crowning/moaning on repeat every couple of seconds 24/24. This is very annoying, please let's reduce the rate of these sounds. I believe during the night they should make significantly less noise. Domestic animals Rooster Cow Wild animals Hind stag Skin and quarter anywhere (not only where the animal died). There are many reasons why this should be allowed it adds more interaction with the game world you may not have a knife/or it is badly damaged and you don't want to ruin it it's raining outside another player with shotgun is going after you Small animals - may be added to the bag and skinned / quartered later on hen rooster fox hare Medium animals - must be split in 2 to be able to pick in hands / add to the bag. Each piece is splitable in steaks/fats. Taking it unquartered should reduce the player's speed (same as wood log). Having a whole pig may provide additional cooking recipes ( pig + apple :D) goat pig Big animals - split in 4 to be able to pick in hands/add to bag. Each piece is splitable in steaks/fats. cow bear stag Skinning and quartering as separate options. Just skinning (would take less time), result : Skin Skinned body - gets rotten faster <list to be continued...>
